I’m late to the game but now addicted to Açaí bowls. I love that I can add whey protein so I don’t feel quite so guilty about all the carbs. I’ll make a “proper” dinner for my husband and order a bowl for myself. Delish!

My acai bowl was a bit flavorless but pretty. The woman who took my order didn’t seem to be in the most chipper mood which opposes the fun easy-going atmosphere. She was warmer with her co-worker tho. But hey everybody has their days.

I genuinely do not know how this establishment has not shut down. I have been to this location two times in the past week and I think I saw at least 4-5 cockroaches. I should not have to have food made in these conditions nor should the workers be making food in these conditions. They have an INFESTATION. absolutely disgusting.

It was my first time getting an acai bowl and it was delicious ! I got a nutelloco with half coconut base and half banana base and the base was so delicious and the toppings tasted fresh, refreshing and delicious ! I would definitely come back for this bowl and would love to try a different bowl. The employees were nice and the space was spacious and clean. They even gave my friend's dog a free pup cup! Overall, this place was great and I am excited to return !

Every time I come into this location, it’s always nice vibes and friendly service. Even when it’s busy the staff is kind and attentive. Today Ive tried the regular iced cold brew as I’m vegan, with oat milk and agave. So good!!!! I was shocked at how it was still sweet and creamy. Just perfect iced coffee. Thank you to the whole team! Never an issue whether I’m coming in or ordering on uber Eats. You guys are awesome!!!!!. I’m sorry no picture of my bowl as I already ate it😅. Green hemp bowl with almond butter, get it!

I had seen this restaurant before but never stopped in. However, after hearing some glowing reviews from a friend, I decided to finally give Playa Bowls a try while I was in Chevy Chase—curious to see what all the hype was about. I must say, I was truly impressed!

The restaurant has a unique, vibrant décor and a welcoming ambiance that instantly draws you in. The staff were both professional and warm—special shoutout to Hathaway and Kalie, who were incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable.

During my visit, I tried the Pacific Green bowl, and every bite was absolutely delicious. What really stood out was Playa Bowls' creative twist: combining vegetables, superfoods, and fruits in such a flavorful way. It was not only tasty but also felt like a treat for my body.

I was excited to learn that there are several locations across Maryland, so this newfound healthy indulgence is definitely here to stay for me. I’ll absolutely be back to explore more of their menu!
