We had a wonderful dining experience with our baby on a busy Saturday night (they were very accommodating). The special donburi bowl was decadent — my faves were the melt-in-your-mouth uni and scallop.
Generally the food was quote good ... the only disappointing item was the "Otoro Sashimi" ie the fat belly tuna sahshimi.... at $60 for 5 -6 pieces, it should melt in your mouth and should be FREE of any tendons ie "un-chewable" parts ...whihc was not the case ...and also it was not fully thawed ...so felt a bit too cold vs that feeling of "yummm....melts" in my mouth. Came in for a couple drinks after a long day and we were so pleasantly surprised it was happy hour! Had some sake and a mango martini(phenomenal) and it was just overall a really nice and quiet atmosphere. Saw a couple food options on the happy hour menu and decided to give them a shot. We tried the fried Brussel sprouts and the delicious pork buns. The pork buns were really stand outs though, they were crispy on the outside of the pork fillet and tender and fatty on the inside...
