Had an excellent lunch at The Capital Grille. They had amazing food and truly fantastic service. The lamb chops were the standout, and the Lobster Mac ’N’ Cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely worth ordering again. It is definitely my most favorite mac and cheese I ever had and would certainly recommend you all to taste it.
My only minor downside was parking: even after using the garage, it’s a bit of a walk (not fun in the cold) to get to the restaurant. Other than that, everything was on point and definitely deserved 5 stars.
I will be back!

I’ve been to The Capital Grille in Scottsdale, and the menu and flavors here are very similar. However, the decor at this location really stands out—it has a sense of history and a museum-like feel, almost like a collection of national treasures. I especially loved the bronze statues throughout the space.
I ordered the oysters for lunch, and they were an excellent choice—fresh, briny, and very refreshing.
Service was okay, but it didn’t quite meet the high standard expected of this restaurant.

I'm not sure why our server was tied up doing other things, but it was kind of unprofessional for him not to check on our table. When you have to wait a long time to order another drink is kind of ridiculous. Also, my sister asked what meal was better between the salmon and the roast chicken, and the roasted chicken was recommended by our server. After tasting the chicken that was dry and bland and had no taste, we waited and waited and waited for our server to return to the table and finally asked a gentleman who worked there if he could get our server and he offered his help, which he took the plate and she (my sister) got the salmon in its place which was absolutely delicious. Now, because our server did greet us and was very nice at the beginning, we left him a 17% tip. We were not leaving him anymore than that because he came to our table maybe three or four times throughout the time we were there and two of those times were to bring us the check and get the money. Just to be clear, we are over tippers.

We were lookig forward to stopping by The Capitol Grill in Chevy Chase. We wanted to sit at the bar because we were only having appetizers and drinks. We were told by the hostess that the bar area is reservation only. We left and walked around for awhile, it was approximately 4:00 pm. I brought up the Open Table app and was able to reserve 3 seats at the bar at 5:00 pm. When returned to The Capitol Grill we were told that the people at the bar area had made their reservations days ago so we could not sit at the bar. We were given a table upstairs in the restaurant. We all felt a little tacky and were very apologetic to the wait staff for just ordering appetizers and drinks. The staff in the restaurant were extremely fantastic.

Don't bother making a reservation in the bar area. They'll take the reservation, but they don't hold the reservation.
