We were very disappointed, as we love the ambiance. My daughter ordered the risotto, which was gritty and inedible. We would have sent it back, but the waiter never reappeared to check how things were, so we couldn't. My fish n chips had no flavor. The third member of our party had a burger, which he said was cooked properly but also lacked flavor. Soda/water never refilled b/c no server returned to our table. Had to get up to find waiter to ask for the check. Won't be going back.

Food and service was solid as always. Menu is a bit sparse -- but that's the nature of the restaurant business these days

We really enjoyed our dinner - the special was shepherd's pie and was delicious and savory. We also had the whitefish and chicken pates, mussels, a couple cocktails and beers. All were great. The drinks and overall service were a bit slow, but not problematically. The food came out fast. Everyone was very friendly. There were musicians playing which was great fun. Will definitely go back.

Our Waiter was super, both thoughtful and accommodating. Muscles Meuniere was outstanding.

Great menu, live music, and friendly service. Really liked the beers on tap and the classy twist on Irish cuisine.

Limited menu, poor service and terrible mixed drinks. Can't make a martini? Not very clean.

Excellent food and drinks, i ate here twice on a business trip. The Irish chicken curry was delicious, wings were crispy, food came out so hot I had to wait a while to dig in. My servers were both attentive and very friendly & professional. I had the Soup of the day, which was very tasty but WAY too hot I needed to wait 10mins to begin eating it. The Irish chicken curry was extremely tasty and the highlight was the Sticky toffee pudding. 3 x courses and 3 x glasses of wine + tip was in excess of $100 so it’s not a standard Irish bar price point but its also not a standard Irish bar feel or fare either. I gave 4 * for service as 1 of my servers could’ve been a little more knowledgeable about the menu, she hadn’t tasted most of it, she was extremely helpful and charming to chat too and I appreciate honesty. However the other server was very informed and recommended the sticky toffee pudding which was the highlight for me. The atmosphere was a little quiet and slightly confused with a live Jazz band and football being on big screens, also the room seemed very bright. I would personally have preferred a more traditional Irish style of music and more atmospheric vibe/ lighting, this is being picky but for the price point I think that’s fair. I overall thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be back.

Irish Chicken Curry was delicious. My wife had mussels and dipped the fries in my curry instead. Our kids got fried chicken sandwich and hamburger. Both of them finished their dishes. Food was plentiful and ambience was.family friendly.

Made arrangements to meet family and friends here, last night. Got to the place at 11:00 and the place was shut down. Not shutting down or even cleaning up. It was completely shut down and hour before closing. Great way to get a bad review and lose business.

Went recently after 9, website says open to 10 or 12, very confusing. Told kitchen closes at 10 but tonight they closed early at 9.15. Annoying thing was staff in kitchen and food coming out of it. Just none for me apparently.

Hunter’s Hound has delicious food at a reasonable price point in a very attractive setting. We’ve tried the market salad, the burger, the fried chicken sandwich, the chicken curry and the mussels. Everything has been excellent — so much so that Hunter’s Hound is quickly becoming a favorite for a casual meal. Kudos to the chef and the wait staff for delivering a terrific experience.
