I go for open mic.
Dropped in for a quick dinner. Place had families and some individual patrons. It was a Wednesday so there is an open mic with a fella playing guitar and singing. Fun.
Before 7:00 the juke box was playing 70-80s rock favorites in the atmosphere is upbeat and chill
I was here at happy hour. Very cold Beers tried a couple of local brews which were delightfully, chilled, and fresh.
The food was good. I had wings as an appetizer cooked well with a very nice wet buffalo sauce. Crisp Julianne carrot sticks with a side of blue cheese just the way I love it
For dinner, I ordered the Reuben, which was recommended by my server and it was also tasty but too much to finish the whole thing the fries were just delightfully, crisp and seasoned.
Altogether, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re camping out at Little Bennett Campground you won’t be disappointed and there’s a kids menu if you brought the whole family
Great service and the food is on point.
Terrible service, okay food. Will not be coming back.
Clarksburg Tavern is TRASHHHHH. I have NEVER been to a restaurant that did have boxes for left overs....Nor have someone come tell you that you not liking the food is the first they have ever heard.... the nachos were trash and the meat was cold. When I told them it was cold... she responded that it must be because of the cold stuff ontop, so I guess that's why the cheese cold as well. Then made a comment that she doesnt cook just for people to do taste tests. Lol I replied with well Im sorry your nachos were cold. I did orderwings and they were very good. I haven't been here for a LONG time but I WILL NEVER return. I am VERY disappointed.... Not to mention she walked around the entire restaurant and talked about me so the ENTIRE restaurant was staring at me. Not bring race in the picture but of course I was the only black person in there. Im beyond upset, embarrassed and all above.
I am a sucker for jalapeño poppers and they were very good. You get 6 per order I believe. Cheesesteak was very good too. I also got a beer. The prices were fair. Service was excellent for me. Will be back!
Came to Clarksburg Tavern after a day of shopping and going to some wineries. Reviews looked ok so we gave it a try.
The good: Super friendly service. Immediately greated when we walked in and went we left. Food, for the most part was ok, depending on what you ordered. The appetizers we had (mozzarella sticks and pickle spears) were great. They came out hot and were flavorful. My husband had no complaints about the sandwich, but he rarely does.
The bad: I ordered the nachos as my dinner option. It was kinda gross. The cheese was the processed canned cheese that turned cold quickly. The chicken was the kind that's out of a bag. I highly doubt the chips were made in-house as described on the menu.
They let dogs indoors, which to me was kind of gross since this was a restaurant. This WAS NOT a service dog and did not have a vest. They did have outdoor patio seating, so not sure why this family wasn't sat there. And before anyone comes at me, the dog was jumping up on the family and on the table begging for food. Usually, service and working dogs don't do this. They are well trained.
Not sure what other unsanitary things they allow here, so I don't think I'll be back for just this fact alone.
It was my first time here to meet up with some friends, the owner Jan is very nice and welcoming. The food was good, the service was excellent and prices were reasonable.
Fantastic local spot with amazing owner, chefs, staff, and most certainly the entire American fusion menu!
I’m new to the area and found this gem. The food is fabulous, and the servers are great. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners who strive to have a great place.

Great Cuban sandwhich. Nice pub-style eatery, young attentive waiter.
Awful appetizer jumbo onion rings I sent back and was still charged ??? Don’t order those onion rings awful
Pretzel was delicious. Flavored tea was lacking in flavor and for a 1 dollar refill not worth it.
Hadn't been there since it changed hands and brands a few years ago. Burgers were great and so was the fried banana split dessert!
Consistently good food and nice staff. Totally recommend.
