I tried my best to enjoy it but I had to quit. The griot and pikliz had no flavor. I have honestly never had bland diri djondjon before today. I really struggled with leaving this review because as a Haitian I don’t want to hurt a Haitian business but this was not good at all. Very disappointing.

Had some delicious Haitian home cooking, everything was fresh and fabulous. Will be coming back real soon!
The goat stew was incredible! 100% recommend along with the akra. Staff was friendly with recommendations and great service.

I was really looking forward to trying this Haitian restaurant, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I placed an order and didn’t receive any meat or what I was expecting. The portion was incomplete and not worth what I paid. I understand mistakes can happen, but this really left a bad impression. I hope they improve their service and double-check orders before sending them out.
I’m Haitian, and for Father’s Day, my daughter treated me to this restaurant, which I hadn’t heard of before. I was genuinely excited to try their Haitian cuisine. Sadly, the experience was very disappointing. The paté lacked flavor, the griot was tough, dry, and chewy, and the bannann peze had a rubbery texture. It all tasted as if it had been reheated in a microwave long before it reached our table. I wish I had something positive to say, but I’ll leave it at that.

It was good.
The chicken dish was not a chicken I had in Haiti, but rice and red beans, Akra, bannann peze and pikliz were quite good and authentic. Pate kode is different everywhere and The chicken pate kode was fine; it was small and nothing amazing, just a chicken filing.
Portions were really underwhelming for the cost. $4 pikliz was a Dixie cup.
Bannann peze was a good value.
Cola on the menu was coca-cola not cola couronne, that was a big bummer!
Over all it was good food, it just felt expensive! I spent $52 on food for two people. We easily finished it and had to buy my son a pizza after because it wasn’t enough for him.
Also if you order on Uber eats beware of service fee. It said no delivery fee but there were other fees added at the very end. That’s on me not them! Just be aware.
They were very kind and called when they had to make a substitution in my order. Great service!

The food was such a disappointment. We ordered 4 different platters. All of them lack seasoning. The Haitian patties were nowhere near what a Haitian Patty should look or taste like. The pictures online did not match the food that you receive.
The atmosphere is more like a food court at the mall. It is not a restaurant. If you were looking for authentic Haitian cuisine please do yourself a favor and skip this location. How do you mess up pikliz?

We drove 45 minutes out of our way to come here and no one is here. All of the other vendors are here working, but no one’s at this establishment‼️‼️‼️ There’s a button that says to ring the bell for service, but no one answers the bell, because no one showed up for work today. If I could leave zero stars, I would‼️‼️‼️‼️

I haven’t had Haitian food before but I would say Guigui’s is one of the finest Haitian cuisines with so many delicious menus to choose from. I got pork sandwich and smoked herring patty and they tasted so wonderful! The customer service is superb as well! Will definitely come back for more!

Food was great! The local is a mixed of world foods. The atmosphere is excellent, service was above par. I ordered the legume served with a choice of white rice or beans mixed with rice. You can't go wrong with either one. I plan on going back to try more of the menu

Gigui is the most underrated Haitian cuisine around. The flavors are absolutely great. The mac and cheese is my favorite period, but the pork sandwich and stews are really good too!!! the various meat, fish and fruit pies disappear fast. Gigui is someone who you just have to meet, her friendly personality and attention to flavor is outstanding. She makes the orders as fresh as possible. Please remember that the food is cooked to order and takes time to prepare some of the time. There is a wait for food , but nothing different from a regular sit down restaurant. so please be patient. I love that she keeps coming out with specials and holds special events and catering. I can't just walk past without getting something new or the Mac and cheese. Thank you Gigui!
