I’m big on sushi and this is my wife and I’s go-to spot for me. The best sushi I’ve had so far and the crab Rangoon. The server we get every time is so wholesome. I don’t think I have ever met such a nice and genuine server with amazing food to back it up.

We ordered a bunch of rolls that came nicely presented on a sushi boat. The taste was mediocre for what we paid. I am from Boston and we have way better sushi here. I am not sure how does this place compare to others on the area. Definitely not coming back

The food and service was great. They were great with my 4 year old and provided kid friendly chopsticks.

This food met all the standards for a restaurant. The food came out quickly, very fresh( and hot), and had an amazing menu with variety of foods. The service here was amazing checking with the customer multiple times to make sure the food was top-tier. Certaintly a 10/10 restaurant.

This place has amazing sushi and great sale deals I highly recommend the toro belly sushi . It’s so tender and delicious it melts it your mouth good. My husband gets the chicken katsu which he says is really delicious and authentic tasting.

Food was outstanding, service was good not great. 3 of us got our entrees and then had to wait 10 minutes for the 4th to finally come out. Staff was very kind but I think scattered brained at times.

How does it take 40 minutes to make 10 pieces of Sushi? Usually, I get my sushi order in under 15 minutes from other sushi places.

I, like many other people in the restaurant, were waiting for our take-out orders. Many people were frustrated by the service. I understand it was busy for Father’s Day, but it is not an excuse for poor service. I noticed some people eating in the restaurant were not be helped without them asking for service.

Please understand and try to improve the service for weekends.

I have passed this place for almost 2 years. This day, my daughter and I decided to take a chance and have dinner here. Omg! I was so amazed at how tasty the food was. I enjoyed the sushi, but what hit home for me was the shrimp fried rice. It tasted just like home (California). The best tasting rice I have had since moving to the East Coast

Katana has been our go-to sushi spot for over a decade—the earliest photo I can find from there is 2011, and every visit since has been outstanding.

The sushi is always top-tier: fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. The roll selection is almost overwhelming—and we mean that in the best way. On this visit, we ordered so much sushi they had to bring it out in a boat. And what a boat it was—an epic display that was as much a celebration centerpiece as it was a meal. Every bite delivered.

We celebrated my daughter’s graduation in the back semi-private room, and of all the places she could’ve picked, this was her top choice. The staff went above and beyond to make the night feel special.

Katana isn’t just dinner—it’s part of our family’s story.

KATANA JAPANESE CUISINE
Clarksville

My first time visiting this neighborhood staple and cozy Japanese restaurant that serves an extensive menu of sushi and hibachi selections. The emphasis is on fresh ingredients and a friendly atmosphere.

Our server was very familiar with the menu and ingredients. This was helpful for 2 in our party who were gluten free. He was friendly and accommodated separate checks for our party of 10 people.

Food:
Was enjoyed by the majority of our group. The dishes we chose came out as they were prepared so whatever needed to be hot was served hot.

The sushi,I would say, is the hallmark of their menu. Made as ordered and given a hearty appreciation by those who had gluten free limitations. Other special requests were happily accommodated.

The only thing I can attest to, since I ordered it…a wish for a lighter batter to be used for their tempura. I know what I order will have been deep fried but when the batter is thick, it becomes heavy and greasier from the oil it was cooked in. There were plentiful amounts of shrimp with sliced vegetables, I had leftovers to bring home.

We enjoyed our gathering. The space is small with dark wood accents but kept clean and quiet enough to carry non-competing conversations with our group. The prices were pretty reasonable and the food was enjoyed, especially those who had diet restrictions.

I will probably return with my husband or a smaller more intimate grouping.
