The best thing was the atmosphere. I ordered a street bowl and it was horrible. The rice was soggy, the chicken was salty and the portion was subpar. First and last time going here.

I went to R house with my friend the
beginning of this week and a manager named “Amir” was being very rude to the employees it made me very uncomfortable, he proceeded to talk to them disrespectfully and made very mean looks at me and approached me aggressively. Please hire new management.

I bought a Koshary bowl, and the portion sizes are HUGE. At first I was a bit taken back by the prices when I started adding toppings, but boy, when I was ordering, I did not know the size of this! It's gigantic and well worth the $20 I spent.

They do a good koshary bowl, comforting and unlike the floating in tomato sauce and macaroni koshary commonly available in the DMV area. Theirs is nicely blended with thinner and smaller pasta noodles plus the tomato flavor is a complement to everything in there and not overpowering. Falafels are good too. This review is for the location inside the food hall/market.

Hands down some of the best food in Baltimore. The Egyptian Breakfast is a must try, enough flavors and variety to satisfy any taste and you will leave satisfied.

I tried the koshari and shawarma and would rate them 5/10. The shawarma didn’t quite meet my expectations – it felt more like meat pieces with diced onion, tomato, and a little white sauce, and the pita bread was slightly dry. The koshari was average, and the oil taste was a bit strong. Personally, I wouldn’t order these dishes again, but I believe other menu items might be better.

I attended the August 2025 Dance & Dine hosted by Iman, the owner of Koshary Corner, and the experience was absolutely delightful! We explored the history and flow of Egyptian Belly Dance and even put together a full routine—such bliss!
After dancing, we wound down with delicious Egyptian street food and light refreshments. I had the Beef Shawarma Koshary Bowl with garlic and spicy red pepper dressing. Each bite packed a flavorful punch.
I would definitely attend this event again. Thank you, Iman, for organizing such a beautiful and joyful experience!
