First time at Tasty Empanadas in Clarksville Kitchen. Ordered a chicken and an apple empanada today and they were great! Very tasty fillings! You gotta try this place!!

When I approached the counter to look at the menu, I immediately felt welcomed ! It was like I was greeted into their home! They had a special Sweet Potato empanada which was savory with red bell peppers. The pepper enhanced the sweet potato flavor to another level yet didn’t overpower it! My tastebuds danced! Loved it! Will be back!!!

Called in for an order because of the images on the website and was told it'd be ready in 5 mins. Arrived around 7 mins. Don't be fooled they were three times smaller than on the website. Which should be updated for false advertising. At least at this location. The beef empanada seemed like it was left out for hours and just snagged from the display case from the unsold ones from the morning. Gosh, it was horrible just remembering struggling to eat it and pouring the already chilled jalapenos salsa on top but I was hungry hungry. Only one that was decently fresh was the mushroom that was good which is why for the 2 star. The spinach one was okay but still tasted as if it was left out for a few hours as well. Maybe I went on a wrong day but the deal they had going for 3 empanadas for $15, I feel robbed. Wouldn't recommend.

The cookie This was the star of the show. I loved the soft shortbread texture of the cookie with the dulce de leche filled middle and the coconut on the outside. Perfect amount of sweetness, not overpowering at all. #ThisFeedsMySoul Beef Empanada Perfect golden fried outside. Stuffed very well. The beef was dry ok the inside. The sweet relish/salsa that goes with it has enough tang and sweet with the liquid to moisten up the meat. Cheese Excellent amount of cheese inside. I would've loved to have the option to wait and have this empanada made fresh, as it was just warm so no cheese pull. Since all the empanadas were dry, I am not sure if that is the custom for Paraguayan empanadas or if it was because they are kept warm in a warming oven? A little dryer than I like my empanadas, otherwise they were good. The cookie increased the rating to 4 stars. The owner is super nice and very friendly. Love that it's woman owned and made it through the pandemic. I love how she packed the to go box like a mom does...with love, care and considerately packed.

Their empanadas are delicious! Service is great! I drive to come get these as the other empanadas I've tried near me can't compare- these have a generous amount of filling compared to other places.

Really delicious and authentic empanadas! The vegetarian options like mushroom and spinach are so good. I love the fresh house made salsa that comes with each order. The special apple caramel dessert empanada is a must try!!

I'm originally from Florida so I've had my fair share of empanadas I took my daughter here for the first time for her first empanada and it was really good the dough is fantastic it's fried but it's not oily at all the feeling is great very tasty and it's a very fat empanada we liked it so much we went back and got more to go. And you'll see some photo and video here I posted for trying them so you can see what's inside. The lady working the register was fantastic great customer service and she won't answer any questions you have with a smile.Kid-friendliness: Good size for kids portion

went on a sunday and got three beef empanadas .not very full of meat and the meat was shredded not ground beef like i thought. not very tasty and very expensive as 16 .75 for 3 empanadas.only gave a tiny bit of salsa and no spicy mayo was available. have had much better emapanadas at the farmers market. not a good value for money and not tasty as well. will not be going back

My FAVORITE place to get empanadas! Whether you want to eat in or do pick-up/delivery, they do not disappoint! The empanadas have the perfect crispiness that you can hear with every bite, a crisp level that stays even when I've ordered them through delivery on DoorDash, so no sogginess here! They have a great variety of flavors, but the chicken ones are my favorite. The empanadas have a good amount of filling, and I usually get full with just 2. The salsa is also a must as it's great in flavor! Ever since I first tried Tasty Empanadas, I have basically become a weekly regular! If you are ever nearby and have a chance to try Tasty Empanadas, I highly recommend you do it!

Tried a couple of their empanadas and was disappointed. The spinach empanada was dry and the chicken one was shredded and tasted like canned chicken. I would not recommend them.
