Crabs are typically good. I brought large males this week —it was light and watery… definitely a waste of money. If you ask the staff if the crabs are heavy they tell you the same thing each time “no complaints “… prices reasonable.
I always go for the oyster 🦪 plater with lake trout.
I have had their Blue Crabs, but I'm not a traditional MD'er. I prefer crab legs.
Blue crabs seem to be more of a social thing and I understand why.
At the end of the day support Prince George County's small businesses.
Also, the owners are very friendly and welcoming. So I will continue to support.

I’ve been going to Captain Pete’s for quite some time now, and let me tell you—it never disappoints. The food here is consistently top-tier, and you really can’t go wrong no matter what you choose. My go-to is usually the whiting or trout sandwich—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right every single time.
When I’m in the mood to switch it up, I go for a platter—either whiting or trout, sometimes both—and occasionally add shrimp to round it out....
