Highly disappointed! First and last time! I decided on this after hearing Big Schlims review on IG! This place is definitely overhyped! I got $35 Big Schlims platter which consists of 2 whiting, 4 fried shrimps and the Shrabcake (fries and coleslaw for sides). What a waste of money! That Shrabcake is whack! No lump crabmeat, finely chopped shrimps and small in size! The Whiting was giving Tilapia! Thin and small, seasoned ok. Four small, baby fried shrimps! Lol! I did like the coleslaw! They one xsmall container of the Shrab sauce, which is actually good, with that $35 platter! I wasn't impressed, and I wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, I came, I ate, and won't be back! Definitely OVERHYPED!!

Too long of a white. The large fish sandwich with supposedly 6 pieces were like two pieces of fish cut in 3s to make 6 so wasn't what I expected.

Highly disappointed is an understatement! I saw a big Schlims review and I said let me see something… 👀 I wanted to love this place. I should’ve listened to my son when we walked in he said it stunk. I got everything that Big SCHLIM recommended. Let’s start with the wings. I got lemon pepper wings, and although they did listen and give me all drums, which I do appreciate they were super salty. I got the stamp platter the fish tastes like air, no flavor and chewy. The shrimp were super small no flavor, tastes like air and also chewy. The sides were uneditable they say the greens had smoke turkey meat no more like liquid smoke and that’s the only flavor and then the mac & cheese no flavor it taste chunky and weird. You see the small container of shrab sauce so you know I had to buy a bottle. Now to the main event, the shrab cake, it had shells, no flavor, no lump crab meat, baby shrimp, and it taste like mushed hush puppies. All in all, I will probably never listen to another Big SCHLIM review ever again to spend about $70 and all of this is a waste because who’s gonna eat this? Not me and I stamp that!

I was excited for anything that appears black owned. I wanted to get the full taste of all they offered. I got a platter and a 5pcs wing? Old bay wings with the scrabcake? Each bite had shells in it. The mac was overcooked and green beans were not flavorful. The wings were a bit salty for my taste but the customer service was top notch. Disappointing, to say least and 40 dollars gone. Do better! (The fried shrimp were the best)

Ordered yesterday from ubereats because I love trying new restaurants. I took a bite out of the shrimp and crab roll and found multiple crab shells to where it was inedible. I talk to uber eats because I wasn’t able to eat the sandwich and they wouldn’t give me a refund which is crazy. I’m being forced to pay for a sandwich that I couldn’t eat due to food safety hazards.

Ordered delivery from here. Ordered the wings/fries combo and 8pcs fried shrimp. Chicken was not cooked all the way and fries were missing. 8pcs fried shrimp was missing hush puppies and coleslaw that is pictured on the menu. In the notes, I asked for cocktail sauce, ketchup, napkins and utensils, did not receive those items either. I do not think I will order from here again.
The people are nice but the food was terrible! I ordered a catfish platter with Mac and cheese and yams. I am now going to McDonalds. I rated it 5 stars so my review is seen.

I got there when they were closing up, but they were still willing to wait on me. I ordered some sides for my Thanksgiving dinner and they did not disappoint. All the dishes I ordered tasted exactly like I hoped they would! I'll definitely be back to sample other dishes on the menu. Shout out to Ron and the folks that work there. I highly recommend this spot for some good old southern cooking!
