IKYFL …. I just left here and spent $65 on two salmon hash meals and a $14 sweet potato waffle. The salmon hash meals, ok I get it… but the $14 dry, sweet potato mini waffles is UNREAL. Who charges $14 for 4 little pieces of bread… DO better! That’s so ridiculous. And for that price the waffles were stale and dry! BYE
Went to the Woodmore location on Sunday and I had the smoothered chicken and biscuits. It was really good and since I had an uber eats credit to use, I figured I would order it again today from the Clinton location. Huge difference in presentation. I was kind of disappointed to be honest.
I placed an order online for the wrong location called to cancel because it was too far. Order was not made because I called to cancel and the cashier told them not to make it because it was canceled. Requested to speak with a manager and after waiting 20 minutes finally got through and told me that it will be refunded 5 days after charge was posted and never refunded 2 weeks after I realized that payment was never refunded
Milk and Honey is no longer the establishment it started out to be. Over time, they’ve made significant changes to their menu, and unfortunately, not for the better. Iconic items like the RumChata French Toast have been replaced with regular French toast. The spicy, flavorful sausage that once made their grits outstanding is gone, and even the bacon has changed—no longer thick and indulgent. The wings have been downgraded from hearty whole wings to tiny wingdings, and waffles are off the menu entirely.
To make matters worse, the taste has become bland, losing its signature Southern charm. It now feels like a chore to add seasoning to dishes that once stood out on their own. The food no longer feels special, and the overall experience has declined dramatically.
It seems like the heart and soul of Milk and Honey has been lost, possibly a consequence of being sold to a larger company that prioritizes profit over maintaining the quality and uniqueness that built its reputation. Sadly, I can no longer recommend Milk and Honey as a place to dine

Deeply disappointing grits, which were undercooked and soupy.
Grabbed food to-go. We ordered shrimp and grits and biscuit sandwich with egg, halfsmoke, and cheese. The biscuit was delightful but everything else was mediocre at best. The grits were super runny; it had the consistency of soup. Maybe they used too much sauce. The tomatoes in the dish seemed out of place, and the shrimp tasted overcooked and bland. The service was good, and the food came out quick.

Ordered some ribs, beef brisket, and sweet potatoes . Start with the sweet potato look and taste like they been sitting for quite a while , ribs were okay, but the brisket was good.

The fried catfish is my favorite. When is is fried hard (as requested) it is good. Consistency is key. I do recommend trying their food at least twice.
Vegetarian options: More vegetables are needed as a side. Zucchini, green beans greens…etc—not broccoli or corn
Wheelchair accessibility: No automatic door. But chairs inside can be moved around tables to accommodate

Do not order food to go. Portions are so small. Not worth the money.

I have been a long-time patron of this establishment, frequently visiting every other week due to the previously excellent quality of the food. Unfortunately, I have observed a noticeable decline in the quality of the meals recently. The Salmon BLT and Honey Lemon Pepper Chicken, which were once highlights of the menu, have not met the same standards in freshness and taste.
The chicken has been consistently grey and chewy, diverging from the fresh white meat that I once enjoyed. Similarly, the salmon has lacked the freshness it previously had, resembling a frozen patty instead. My initial thought was that this might have been a temporary issue, possibly due to supply challenges. However, the problem has persisted over the last two months, leading to concerns about potential cost-cutting measures impacting the quality of the meals.
It is not my intention to leave negative reviews, especially for a Black-owned business that I have supported for so long. However, I feel compelled to express my disappointment with the recent experiences. I hope this feedback is received constructively and that the quality of the meals can return to its former excellence.
Service and atmosphere is great!

Milk and Honey may be a small spot, but it packs a big punch! I ordered the Hot Honey Lemon Pepper Chicken Sandwich, and it was pretty good. The flavors were well-balanced, and the chicken was crispy and juicy. The seasoning had just the right amount of heat and sweetness. Definitely a place worth checking out if you're in the mood for something flavorful. I'll be back to try more from their menu!

I really didn't want to post a bad review. I believe in giving people a fair chance to make it right but now i am just being taken advantage of at this point. I made an online order on 10/10 and this is the first time I can say im.very disappointed with my food. I have tried contacting the Clinton store for over an hour and keep receiving a message "the mailbox is full". I placed an order while in the parking lot at 9:42. Order states ready in 15 min. I proceed in at 9:55 the young lady was just putting in the bag. As I am driving back to Waldorf to get mom to her appointment, I am eating my food while in the car... salmon was not hot, hash tasted as if it was reheated in the microwave. Now if food just came up, there is no way the salmon is Luke warm a d the hash to taste the way it did. I know microwave food when I taste it. I could not turn around as mom could miss her appointments after waiting months to get them. Very disappointed and I have gotten food from here quite few times. Management finally reached out to me via email a little after my email to them to state "
"I am very sorry about this. Which location did you visit?"
I quickly replied and to date there has been no communication to make things right. I even followed up via email and called. And of course voicemail box is still full. How do you have a business and no one answers the phone. It is the principal you do not care about the folks who patronize your establishment.
onlinewould appreciate if someone can contact me in regards to a replacement also if you guys could clean out your mailbox or answer the phone to spend their hard earned money

Me and my wife are visiting from Dallas, TX. My 1st time at Milk & Honey. I had the Catfish and Grits...dope! She had the Shrimp and Grits...the turnkey was a pleasant addition since she doesn't eat pork. That was fire too 🔥 Keep up the great work my people.

Nice little place we found on google. Food was delicious, but the person at the register should be more attentive with customers than her phone. Would recommend this place for the food for sure.
