I'm going to give 4 stars because this location has so much potential. I've visited mix and mingle a number of times. After going once, I was hooked. I've invited friends and it became my work/personal time spot. But the last few times I've gone, I've been disappointed. My drinks have been made either incorrectly or lacked flavor (was told they were trying a new bartender one time-a young girl) and my food has been cold each time recently. I tend to order the same thing and I'm not sure if the gravy is just sitting or the biscuits but it has been cold each time. Just hoping they work out the new kinks.

The food is delicious, but they do a poor job of keeping their hours of operation updated. I went when the hours said they would be open and they were closed.

While in the parking lot, at least 7-8 other people had the same frustration of coming all the way out for it to be closed.

Great local spot serving much more than coffee. We met one of the co-owners. She made us feel very welcome. The staff was kind and responsive to our requests.

Love this place but sometimes the staff is short and it takes forever to get a simple order. I ordered coffee and an avocado hash while my coffee came right away my vegan meal took another 20mins or so and my coffee was warm and almost done. This tends to happen more than often and stopped me from coming as frequently unfortunately.

I had a casual birthday meet-up this week of about 9 people and we all enjoyed our meals. The service was very good and the menu options were fine. I would love for my meal to have been a little warmer, but it was flavorful. Looking forward to another Mix and Mingle experience in the next few months.

I have visited this establishment multiple times and had great experiences but that changed after my visit Sunday. My credit card was charged 3 times for one $80.02 tab. I Contacted them directly and provided copies of my bank statement and emails from my bank showing the multiple charges. I asked them to make it right and 3 days later I am still out $170.10 for an $80.02 tab. I go out of my way to support black owned business especially woman owned. Never supporting this establishment again.

I actually wish there was a zero star option. I ordered take-out. First off, they gave me the wrong food and when I decided to drive all the way back, for what I ordered, they made it seem like it was my fault for receiving the wrong food. Secondly, the manger with the shorter hair cut/style was very sarcastic in her behavior after hearing that their restaurant did not deliver a satisfactory experience. Lastly, they do not answer their phone. What’s the point of having your business number posted publicly if you don’t answer it? I called 11 times in counting.

Excellent service, great coffee and food! If you’re looking for a place to kick back, work a little and lounge during the day; this is the perfect spot!

Shannon and Gray was so great and friendly. The service is top tier. The restaurant is beautiful and so aesthetically pleasing, I will for sure be back.
