Not good at all...the egusi was wirh frozen spinach abs not much green, too much palm oil. I know good egusi and this is not it...will not be back and service is very slow. They told us they were out of follow but then gave us a small order but it was old like it had been sitting out

I can only speak for myself. I had Cassava leaves and assorted with white rice the. First time, it was so so good. The service and reception were great as well. I recommend this place to any one looking, as I have now made it my spot.

The lady was nice but…. Food was not good at all. The meat was old and tough. I could tell it was old because it was dry and smothered In cassava leaf stew. And it was hard! I had a hard time cutting it with a knife. Perhaps if the food was freshly made it would have been more tolerable. But to sell old food is just disgusting. I would not recommend.

This is not African food. Please eat elsewhere. The prices are also extremely high for what we ordered. How does egusi and chicken for $20 not come with swallow (pounded yam)? The cassava leaf is not cleaned.. it tasted very gritty and as if dirt was in it. They also changed our order from jollof rice to fried rice without informing us ( they said it didn’t connect but never left a voicemail). The only thing that was half way decent was the fried fish. I’m Nigerian and I was actually shocked that they’d sell this food to non-Africans and people will think our food actually taste this bad.

The service was alright, but I didn't feel welcomed there at all. I had peppered goat, jollof rice, and plantain and none of it was anything special. I will say, I was given a ton of rice which I'm not used to, but the flavor wasn't really there and the goat was either chunks of fat or pretty hard meat which was disappointing. I also had a beef meat pie which was just "okay". The plantain were very dry and almost flavorless. I would not come back here, but I'm glad I tried it. The inside is not somewhere I would want to eat but to each his own. The food is pretty expensive despite lack of quality and flavor, so I would not recommend eating here all in all.

I ordered what I get all the time ( okra soup with goat) get home and I have something I didn't even know what it was. I called and the lady tell me to just eat it because it's good, I tell her I don't know what it is and I never order that. What's crazy is she know who I am because I go at least twice a week and get the same thing. I will never go again unless the Owner is there, he is the reason I started going to only that restaurant.
