I’ve been a loyal customer of this Papa John’s for over 35 years, but unfortunately, the quality and service have significantly declined.

Food consistency has become a serious issue. Too often, my pizzas are either overcooked or missing sauce altogether. On Saturday May 31, 2025, around 4 p.m. was another disappointment the pizza was burnt and dry. There was no greeting when I arrived for pickup, no eye contact, and very little professionalism.

Most troubling, there was a man asleep on the bench inside the store, clearly not a customer. The staff saw him and did nothing, which raises concerns about cleanliness and overall store management.

This used to be my go-to pizza spot. Sadly, it no longer lives up to the standards it once had.

Papa John’s, I hope someone from your corporate team takes a hard look at what’s going on at Store #01122 in Clinton, MD. Longtime customers and the community deserve better.

Easy to order, quick pickup food was good but i asked for extra sauce but it wasn't added.

I placed my order at 6:56 pm, and it’s still not here they made it a DoorDash order because I guess it wasn’t top priority (I paid in cash). It is now 8:24 still no order. When I tried to call the store several times to cancel and no one picked up!! Worst papa johns ever yall need to do better.

Whenever you pay cash they take forever because they think you sre not tipping well. So check your food because you will be last. They delivered me a cold pizza. It wasn't even warm. An hour and a half after I ordered it.

Worst experience! Showed my order was delivered but it wasn't so i called spoke to manager who said the tracker wasn't accurate and it was on its way. 25 minutes later I get 2 cold pizzas one with the box unsealed. So I call to relay what was going on to the manager who told me my option was to have driver come and get the cold pizza and have new ones sent out which of course was going to take forever had hungry grandkids waiting or I they could come back and get the pizzas and refund. Crazy the pettiness for their error they are going to actually send someone back to pick the pizzas up and nothing for the inconvenience. I told them I would keep the one that was unsealed and requested refund of other pizza and delivery fee. Stated only would refund the pizza AFTER driver picked up the unsealed pizza. Said because it was delivered they would not refund the delivery fee and can't get my tip back either. So basically I have one cold pizza after almost 2 hours of waiting. Driver showed back up to pick up the pizza and I explained to her the seal was broken and she said one of my kids must have opened the box because it came straight from the store. I saw the seal was broken before the boxes were even set down on the counter top which my grandkids were no where near. She got mad and screeched out of the neighborhood. I filed a complaint with corporate and am waiting to hear from upper management. I now know why they only have 3 stars

This delivery turned into an all day waiting game. I ordered my food at 12:18 p.m. It came shortly after 1:05 p.m. Within my order I ordered an extra side of their garlic sauce. At 1:18 p.m. I called to say that that item was missing from my order. During the phone call exchange, I was speaking with one of the workers who kept putting me on pause and relaying messages and questions from their supervisor regarding my missing item. My favorite question was “My supervisor asked if you checked inside the box?” …. (: I wouldn’t be calling if I checked everything…. Anyways, they said they can either credit it to my account or I can wait for another 1-2 hours for delivery which is insane due to it being their mistake. Regardless I accepted the re-delivery , but here we are over 2 1/2 hours later and still no delivery. So I called back, and spoke to a different worker, who took my address down and set the delivery for my missing sauce, which he said would be another 30/40 minutes. Piss poor service, no urgency or accommodations for their mistake. Haven’t ordered from them in a while due to their reputation and lack of professionalism, and here I go giving them a chance and this is the service I receive. I understand mistakes can happen, but having to wait over 3 hours now for a missing item is piss poor customer service. This is in no regards to the delivery driver, he was a very nice person.

I placed an order online thinking that I did delivery but instead I did carry out so I called to check my order and it said 9 minutes and this was around 10:45pm so I waited then I call back and they was closed so I call the next day and talked-about what happened to the store manager MRS IKEA KING and she was VERY pleasant positive attitude and have EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I just wanna thank MRS IKEA KING for great work and I will always be a faithful customer.

I ordered the pizza through Papa John’s website. An hour later a door dasher texts and said he can’t find the store so he took it upon himself to cancel my order. If I wanted to use door dash I would have done that.
Y’all need to shape up over there. Why is the morale so low? Why do you need door dash to deliver? This is unacceptable.
