It was a birthday lunch with my coworkers and I couldn't be happier with the food and the atmosphere. It was just great.
We haven't been to Barrett's in a few years. It was excellent! Our server was perky and professional. The highlight for me is that I made them aware of some food allergies and sensitivities and they took great care to make sure that I was safe. Sometimes, when restaurants modify a meal to meet my sensitivities it is lackluster and disappointing. Not in this case I had a delicious meal! Can't wait to go back again soon. Ps great cocktails too.
Sara (I hope I spelled it right), our server, was very polite and attentive. We had buffalo calamari with cesar salad and cream of crab soup, which were delicious. Wifey had tacos and I had crabcakes for entrée. Food was yummy 😋. The ambience was warm. Will definitely go back again.
Had Christmas eve dinner here. Food service and atmosphere were great.

I don't often go out to Hunt Valley, but on this recent trip I stopped into Barrett's Grill with a friend for lunch. And I must say the food made me want to take another trip to Hunt Valley asap.
Upon walking through the doors of Barrett's Grill you can admire the beautiful dining room space that was perfectly decorated for the holiday season. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive giving us time to mull over the menu a while. I ordered the Salmon BLT wrap with fries and was blown away by the flavor. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and blackened, and the peppered bacon was a great compliment. I typically ask for any type of sauces on the side, however, I forgot this time and was still happy with the honey mustard style sauce in the wrap. My dining companion ordered the fish of the day tacos, which was trout and she said they were really tasty.

Still a good restaurant, but a far cry from what it was a few years ago. The menu choices has been drastically pared, but the quality is still there. I will forever miss the best prime rib and mushroom risotto I ever had.

Food was delicious and Gordon our waiter was friendly and efficient. Noise level very high reducing the overall positive ambiance. Food was delivered very swiftly, such that we felt in and out a bit too quick.
This visit was to celebrate the birthday of a friend. Overall experience was excellent. Our server was Zach. Zach was one the best servers I have had in a long time at ANY local restaurant. He was friendly, courteous, professional, attentive and efficient. My friend ordered the grilled salmon and I ordered the salmon BLT wrap with a side of cole slaw (instead of French fries). Server Zach asked if I would be interested in a recommendation about the preparation of the salmon BLT wrap. I told him I welcomed his recommendation. He suggested spreading the mustard throughout the salmon BLT wrap rather than putting it on the side as he said spreading the mustard throughout the wrap would enhance the flavor. Terrific recommendation! salmon Zach also gave us a recommendation for dessert (berry cookie crisp with homemade cream). The dessert was excellent. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our salmon meals - excellent taste and lovely presentation. The homemade coleslaw was excellent. Prices are a little high. Both my friend and I really enjoyed our food. We lingered for a chat as we had not seen each other in person for awhile and Zach did a very nice job checking on us to see if we needed anything and refilling our glasses of water. He did not hurry us at all. The restaurant was a bit noisy (we were there on a Saturday starting at 12:30 p.m.) and at times, it was hard to heard each other talk but the positive side is the restaurant was busy. The only other disappointment is that there is a new menu and dishes we have enjoyed in the past are gone - no more Strawberry Fields salad, Rachel sandwich or Reuben sandwich. Again, kudos to Zach the server for his role in making my friend's birthday a lovely celebration.
We enjoyed the Herb Chicken and the Blackened Chicken Pasta as well as the warm carrot cake which was yummy. Our waitress, Mackenzie, took very good care of us.
The service was excellent except my friend very specifically requested that the avocado in her salad be on the side and it was not. The hummus I ordered was very spicy and this was not noted on the menu. The waitress did offer to replace it with another menu item but by the time I ordered something else my dinner companions would have been finished their dinners. The server very kindly took the item off of our bill.

The crabcake appetizer was so amazing. I ordered crabcake entrée for dinner. The steak sandwich was outstanding. The waiter Terrell was wonderful. This was a wonderful dining place.
This was our first time at this establishment. It strikes us as a special occasion type of place. It was a great evening, food was excellent. Definitely a do over.
Food and service was amazing as always. I have never eaten anything at Barrett's that wasn't excellent. Riley was a great server, and we were well taken care of for our business lunch.
I made a dinner reservation to eat with a friend after a sporting event. The staff were very attentive, noise level was reasonable (we could enjoy our conversation!), the food was tasty and the price was surprisingly good for the quality. I would definitely return next time I'm in the area!
It was our anniversary celebration dinner Devon was our server and was so very nice we thoroughly enjoyed our meal
