An unexpected gem in an unexpected location. This place, hands down, has the best crab cakes in Baltimore! You'd be hard-pressed to find a better one.Inside of an Amish Dutch Market, their location is well done. The staff is super knowledgeable and very friendly. The seafood here is always fresh. Their hot serve foods are insanely delicious!! I have tried just about all of it over the last few years & have never been disappointed. Stuffed Salmon, steamed shrimp, crabcakes, steamed crabs, shrimp cakes, stuffed shrimp, potato salad, corn on the cob, MD Crab soup, cream of crab soup... the list goes on.If you are in the area, heck if you're anywhere remotely close to this area, you have to make this one of your must-stop stops. The only regret you'll have is if you don't stop. Soooo good!!!
Crab cakes was very breaded not worth the price . I tasted bread hardly no crab .However, my first time in the Dutch market will not buy a crab cake again there.

The colossal crab cakes had too many fillings. The jumbo shrimps did not have flavor or taste.

The crab cakes are hands down the best in the Baltimore area. Pappa’s is nothing compared to these amazingly delicious crab cakes.

My 5 star reviews have been deleted....Several 5 star reviews. So let's see how long the 3 star stays up....I went in to purchase my usual...stuffed salmon and jumbo lump crab cake. 2 each. ($57+). I knew exactly what I wanted and as I was giving my order a person walked up and asked for something that was not in the display case and the man ringing up my order began helping her. Hmmm. Maybe he wanted me to walk away and save me from the dry salmon I received (the other person ordered grilled salmon with no crab meat...fresh off the grill). Hmmm. I don't know. No matter how polite we are...if we aren't working...we are not welcomed. Even by our own. FRESH MARKET AMISH MARKET AVENUE MARKET HOLLINS STREET MARKET AND SO ONMy daughter said the crab cake was good.

Hey. I'm cool with the $5..2/$9..crab cakes being gone and "suddenly" (then were sooo good) and becoming the $12 crab cakes. (Maybe $10 somewhere over the last 10 yrs). I never liked the $12 ($10) crab cake...too bread-y. Was cool with the $12 crab cake becoming the $15 crab cake...tried it again...very tasty...good lumps. And now you have stuffed scallops! My goodness...they melted in my mouth, at $18 for 4. So I returned...and drove very far (from Laurel)..now the $12-15 crab cake is $20...and the $18 scallops are $15. Hmmm. I felt happy. But. The customer service, that always drew me in, was COMPLETELY GONE. The employees/ cashiers...whoever was taking my order...then process my debit card....were clearly not in the best mood....The $20, reinvented $12, crab cake tasted as good as the $5 crab cake but the scallops are still stuck in my throat a little bit. I miss the good stuffed salmon, as well. If you open up a storefront, or food truck, or whatever....I will still be there. I need to see the happy faces again. So do whatever it takes.

Cooked Jumbo Lump crab cake was on the sweet side with lots of shells, and stuffed salmon was way undercooked (Slimy consistency). The Amish Market itself gets 5 stars. Seafood portion isnt good at all.

I sampled the lobster dip and it was excellent, so I purchased it; however, the one that I purchased was full of mayonnaise. In other words, it taste NOTHING like the sample and was expensive. Very disappointed!
Enjoyed the variety. Each department/vendor offered a nice variety. The prices were cheaper than the Amish market in our area.

Crabcakes not good and all the seafood is overpriced. It also doesn’t look very clean. Maybe try Pappas’ in Cockeysville, very good crabcake, all lump
