for many years, my husband and I have visited this hotel purely for pleasure. Sadly, the hotel management economic cup backs made this last visit is very disappointing. There was no way staff to take our orders for dinner. Instead, the bartender was performing double duties, and so hotel guests had to wait in long lines, the managers reception sadly has been reduced to chips and cheese, the DIRECTV package had no major networks or sports channels, the beautiful waterfall fountain was disconnected. We were told because it was too costly to operate. other comforts like mirrors on the wall and working USB ports added to our disappointment. The hotel lobby is still appealing,

I went to visit family and needed a place nearby that wasn't too expensive and chose the Embassy Suites. I've actually been to this place before but it's been easily 15-20 years since my last visit. The thing about Embassy Suites generally is that they're mostly the same - especially of the properties from the 80s era. Big, open central space and the rooms encircle it. The property is from that era and there are some things that show this in 2023 - like the old and slow elevators, but they've done a good job modernizing the place overall. Like my room. They gave me room 731 which is near the elevators closest to the lobby. Nice. The view overlooks an office park next door (there's not much to see in Hunt Valley). Imagine an 80s era room but modernized with marble counters and nicer fixtures with wifi, usb chargers and nice curtains and you've got 731. It was very pleasant and very comfortable. Since its a suite there's an outer room with seating and a kitchenette. I made use of the large screen tv to watch some movies and generally chill. Since it is an 80s-era bathroom, it's small. But they have modernized and it's perfectly fine. Shower was good with lots of pressure and everything worked. There is an indoor pool, but I did not use it. The breakfast is surprisingly good. Lots to choose from and the hot prepared food is pretty good also. No complaints. Staff was great. Welcoming, friendly, informative. Really, there's not much more I could ask for when on the road. I enjoyed my stay and would return again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. In fact it's one of the better Embassy stays we've had since the pandemic. The property has been around for awhile but the rooms and public areas have been updated. Our room, was clean, comfortable. and quiet. The front desk staff were very nice and extremely helpful. The breakfast service was well organized and offered a nice variety of choices. Quite a few other Embassy properties could use this one as an example. We only had a couple of negatives. The fitness center was very hot. It had to have been over 80 degrees and both ellipticals were worn and difficult to use. Housekeeping must be requested......it's past time to change back to automatic daily service. We did make the request and service was provided; however, I left a note asking for extra towels and they left 1 extra. I expected at least a couple. They also did not replace the bar of soap so I had to get one from the desk. With a couple of minor adjustments, I could give this property a 5 star rating.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. It appears that there is a significant issue with black mold. Despite bringing this matter to their attention, we were relocated to another room, only to discover that the same issue persisted. Furthermore, there were two instances where the water supply was unexpectedly shut off during our stay. One of these occurrences happened while I was in the shower with shampoo in my hair. The hotel's response was rather dismissive, suggesting that I could make do with a few drops of water from the shower. Can you believe it? The housekeeping service was extremely poor. We were forced to use "pool" towels as there were no bath towels available for our room. We had originally planned to stay for two months, but after 30 days and the incident with black mold, we decided to check out 30 days early and book a room at a Marriott Hotel. This hotel has turned into an absolute disgrace.

My room was clean and the a/c worked. Other than soap, there are no amenities, even if you ask. The room is not cleaned while you stay. There isn't any shuttle service for short trips to the shopping center down the block or the light rail. There isn't any sidewalk in this area to walk on to these places. While I was there, the hotel was booked. The elevators were sporadic in working, sometimes only one worked. The morning breakfast has a person cooking fresh omelets with real eggs, veggies and cheese. That was nice. The staff is welcoming and polite. They just don't have many services to offer. They gave me bottles of water and I was able to store my luggage the day I checked out until I left on the light rail to BMI.

The air in the room didn't work the electrician came to fix the thermostat sleeping in the room was so uncomfortable the pools heater didn't work the ice machine on the floor didn't work there isn't a coffee machine in the lobby

We loved everything about this hotel. Friendly, convenient, great food and bar amenities. We loved the seating area for meeting with our “out of town” relatives. Will definitely stay again Parkton girl
We stayed 5 nights for a conference and had a very nice suite with a king size bed, comfortable sitting area with table and chairs as well as a sofa and chair. The bathroom had a shower and was a little cramped. The hotel provides a high breakfast buffet as well as a made to order omelet and waffle station. At night they offer a social hour with free beer and wine as well as snacks that include cheese, crackers, chips, dips, vegetables and fruit. You have to call the front desk the day before you want housekeeping services and ask for them to come to your room. There is a nice indoor pool, but it only opens at 5 pm. The fitness center is open 24 hours. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and even the light rail. The hotel is very nice but a bit pricey. I would recommend this hotel.

Shared a room with a friend for a convention we were attending. Plenty of room and we didn’t feel we were on top of one another. Room has updated furnishings but popcorn ceilings. Breakfast was good. Coffee was delicious, nice and hot. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice stay.

This hotel is dirty and very busy, it was a bunch of kids running up and down the hallway. The pool looked dirty, my bathroom showerhead and shower wall were dirty. Maid didn't even put a new roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, she used a quarter of a roll left from the previous guest. Remote was dirty. Bed made my back hurt. Breakfast was very bland, nice variety but tasteless. Waffle tasted horrible. Common areas were dirty. My heat was broken in my room so I froze all night. I will never stay here again. Its ok but the cost is not worth it.

The hotel is very clean. The room was very clean. The staff was a delight. The digital key worked perfectly. Breakfast was AMAZING! It was popcorn day so the staff offered bags of popcorn which was a kind gesture. This location has become my go to place whenever I am in the area.

I was on business for a couple of day and this hotel/room was perfect. First, it was a safe neighborhood with some restaurants near by within walking distance. The room was very spacious and meet all of my needs. I would definitely stay here again in my next trip!
