We enjoy going to Sammy's a few times a year. Normally we go with friends but this time it was just two of us. We like the atmosphere and the food. The service was below average this time. Our table had no utensils which we realized when eating the bread. However, the food runners dropped our food off and got one of our sides wrong so they were gone before we could ask. We had to track down a manager who brought us silverware. The runner never returned with our correct side....
We arrive for our reservation at 7:45 and we're quickly seated. We were side at a table in the back of the restaurant and noticed that we were the only table without a tablecloth. No big deal but just something we noticed our waitress came over quickly, took our drink order and then took a very long time to come back and bring the drinks and take our appetizer order we replaced our appetizer order and before we could place our entrée order she ran away quickly and a long...
We were seated right away in a nice area. Our server was very professional and the food so good. We love the julia salad and my husband Loves the veal parmesean as it is always tender and the portion size is large. The best vodka rigotoni around....brought new friends and they loved their meal as well!!
