I hadn't been to the Corner Stable in a while. A friend and I met there for lunch, we each got a burger and ordered them medium. Truthfully, both we cooked past medium, but not horribly so. They were DELICIOUS!!! My burger came with fries, my friend's came with onion rings. The sides were excellent! The service was very good too. Attentive without being overbearing. This is definitely a place to hit if you find yourself in the Cockeysville area. Highly recommend!!!

I tried the ribs once and they were terrible. I think it was an off day because people seem to love the ribs. Today I tried a put beef and it was dry, tasteless and full of gristle but the fries were good. My favorite item here is the crab cake. Overall my food has been run of the mill.

Best ribs on the East Coast. Tucked away in Cockeysville. Don't miss it.

I was pregnant n not feeling well. The waitress noticed without me saying anything. She brought me a ginger ale/Sprite with crackers. Asked me if I needed anything...Just really nice and didn't have to do anything. I thought she was sweet....and I have ordered here for years n never had any major problems!!!! Always love their food. I moved away but coming back for their cheeseburger. Lol.
Just like I remember it!!

We ate here regularly for years and greatly enjoyed it, but our last two meals were very disappointing in quality of food. Also, the place was always crowded on the past but half empty during our last visits. Last visit they were out of a menu item. Haven't seen our longtime favorite waiter recently. They were advertising for all positions. Not sure what's happened, but it's not the same and that makes me sad. Hate to lose a fav eatery, but doubt we'll return.

Corner Stable was a favorite of mine when I lived nearby and always had my favorite crab cake. My visit yesterday was awful, apart from an excellent waitress. The cream of crab soup was lumpy (and not with crab), the ribs were skimpy, and worst of all, the crab cake was terrible. Maybe the worst I've ever had in Maryland. Maybe a tablespoon of lump crab and a cup of baader meat. I've never before had one experience make me never again want to visit a once-favorite restaurant, but that's how bad it was.

Went with friends. Ample parking, was not at all crowded on a Friday night. Overall, we weren't impressed and not only won't we be going back, but I wish I didn't waste my time and money here. $240+ for a group of 4 included dinner, drinks, and tip.
Here's what we liked: the onion rings were really good, as were the ribs. The meat fell off the bone very easily and the Carolina Spicy BBQ sauce was very tasty. The broccoli and string beans were good.
What we didn't like: the beer wasn't as cold as I like it (admittedly, could just be my preference). Crab cakes had pieces of jumbo lump, but the bulk of the crabcake was a flavorless grey filler mush. The fried shrimp had an odd coating and the shrimp itself was dry and flavorless. The dessert (lemon blueberry cake) was highly disappointing. It was a very dry and crumbly pound cake, little to no lemon taste, though there were quite a few blueberries in the cake. It was served with vanilla ice cream and fresh blueberries (the blueberries were good).
Our server Cole was ok. He had to be asked twice on several occasions (mustard, another drink, soda refill), but he was friendly enough.
It may be the home of Baltimore's best ribs but that's about it. Now grant it, we aren't in the south. These tiny ribs fell off the bone by just looking at it. Not my version of a good rib. The Club was just that, a club. And the pulled pork was nothing special. We did eat at s lunch time. Cream of crab was a bit gelatinous. I give this place a B-. Our server, Channing, was AWESOME, though.

Had the ribs, little red sandwich, and kids steak and fries and all were cooked perfectly and delicious. The place is like a Harry Potter tent...seems way larger inside than you think it would be from the outside.
