Sam is the best bartender. He made all of our drinks with ease and they were so good!! He is definitely a legend and amazing at his job. I’ll be back again for sure!

Absolute GARBAGE. This is the most dreadful place I’ve been in a long time. It’s dirty as hell and the food is terrible. I asked for a burger well done and they gave it to me medium rare. Not to mention it was completely flavorless and looked cheap as hell. Sure enough the fries were no better. I told the server and she felt so bad she didn’t charge me whatsoever. Will not be back. This place has as much charm as a dumpster.

As I reflect on my time at the University of Maryland, I can't help but smile thinking about The Rendezvous Inn, affectionately known to us all as "The 'Vous." What began as your father's business has, under your stewardship, become an integral part of the UMD experience for generations of students.

For over 60 years, you and your family have been more than just business owners – you've been a friend, a confidant, and a constant presence in our lives. The 'Vous, now Cornerstone Grill, has been our sanctuary. It's where we've shared beers, laughter, and those nervous first dates. It's where friendships were forged and memories were made that will last a lifetime.

Your dedication to preserving the spirit of The 'Vous while evolving with the times is commendable. You've taken your father's legacy and built upon it, creating a place that feels both timeless and fresh. The fact that Cornerstone Grill continues to be a beloved spot for students and alumni alike is a testament to your hard work and vision.

To my Theta Chi brothers and me, you've been more than just the owner of our favorite hangout. You've been a friend and a supporter through the years. Your continued connection to us long after our graduation speaks volumes about your character and the genuine relationships you've built with your patrons.

Mark, thank you for the countless nights of fun, the sense of community you've fostered, and for keeping the spirit of The 'Vous alive all these years. Here's to you, to The 'Vous, to Cornerstone Grill, and to 60+ amazing years of being the heart of the UMD social scene.
