Great food and great service as always! Thank you for your wonderful and attentive staff! You are always a best choice in the area for our annual holiday breakfast. I enjoy the pleasant staff and wonderful food options. Thank you for being the best in the area!

The food was good and the server was attentive, but it took a very long time, going on an hour, for the food to come out.

I would've left zero stars if I could seeing as how we walked out without ordering. We had reservations to celebrate my college graduation. Were seated immediately. And sit is all we did. Someone passed by & suggested we eat at the buffet. We requested menus. 5 out of 7 recieved water and we sat. Almost a half hour passed by (the side we were on only had one other dining guest) and we packed up & went to Silver Diner (which was a SUPERIOR choice!). On the way out, the waitress seemed shocked we were leaving & asked "is it because I was late?" It's because we were ignored.

We chose to eat at The Common because it was convenient but ended up really enjoying it. The atmosphere was bright; the service was attentive, and the food was very good. We were visiting our son and had a lovely time; thank you.

My family and I arrived on time to our reservation. The building was buzzing with graduates but the restaurant was not as busy as we thought it might be. However, we viewed that as a good thing; therefore it was intimate. The food was delicious with exceptional service. My family is still talking about the food and plan to visit the restaurant again. I recommend the habanero wings, fried brussel sprouts, and Maryland crab soup (which is literally THE BEST we have ever experienced by far, and that is a feat)! Keep up the good work and thank you for a dynamic experience!

This restaurant simply is not staffed properly. There is rarely a host present to check you in and finding a server often requires a walk around the restaurant. The food comes in a reasonable time, but then the server doesn't show back up to check on the food.

Service was listless and slow. Ravioli was largely overcooked although the veggies were not.

I tried this restaurant with one of my friends. We both attended UMD years ago but we never tried the restaurant nearby. It was quiet and nice to dine here during the week. The service was excellent and I really enjoyed my meal. I got the crab dip and I would definitely recommend!

Overall, dining at The Common - College Park Marriott was an excellent experience. The reservation process was easy, the staff friendly and attentive, the food selection was small but large enough to satisfy all seven people in our group, the prices reasonable and the food was very good. The only issues we had was that it took a long time for the food to arrive at the table. We arrived with plenty of time to eat and make it on time to my son's UMGC graduation, which was being held in the Marriott, so it was not an issue for us that the meal took an hour and a half. We assumed that staffing was short that day due to the graduation and that's why the food took so long to arrive at the table. If you have time for a slow and leisurely meal then this place is excellent.

Food was really good and place was hopping. Problem was they were understaffed on a game night. They were working hard and doing their best but it was impossible to get a server's attention. Hope they check the basketball schedule next time !

Ate here while staying at the hotel, second time I've done so. Solid dinner option in very pleasant surroundings, and good value for the food. The service was not memorable that night, but the folks serving coffee behind the bar in the mornings are awesome. Also if you're there, make sure to check out the art collection in the convention center connected to the restaurant, it's excellent and a nice bonus.

A great place to dine before or after going to Xfinity Center - easy in-and-out, free parking, and a pleasant atmosphere with good food. I recently checked out restaurants in the area for my first visit to Xfinity. The Common was not just the top choice, it was the only spot I found for leisurely sit-down dining. My pulled pork sandwich was actively delicious, and the wine list varied. Thanks to our server and the kitchen for a great experience!

Waiter never came back after food was served. The salmon was dry and not enough sauce on the plate. Same for the crab cakes. The steak was good. Broccolini was just about raw. On Mothers's day- waiter did not take mothers' orders first. Handed the check to my wife instead of me. Totally clueless about etiquette. Not personable either.
