These people are nuts!!! I just called four times trying to place an order. They didn’t pick up 2 times, then they left me on hold for 10 minutes, then they slammed the phone on me when I called back. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE BUSINESS. I can’t believe any professional establishment would ever conduct themselves like this. I hope this isn’t discrimination against Americans. I wouldn’t waste your money here.

Was missing a piece of home and decided to check out Koité, definitely worth the 1.5 hour drive! I’ll definitely be coming back!

This review isn’t to bash the food but to express my extreme disappointment. Every week you come here the food get more expensive and expensive. We understand that their is inflation cost of production is getting higher, but to short your customers in the process is unacceptable. Everytime as a community we want to support a growing business, they express their gratitude to their loyal customer base by taxing the hell out of them. Please explain why a small platter is 35 dollars and the rice and meat are stuffed in the same container. The same side they have been serving since way back when is 8 dollars for a SMALL side. The purpose of creating restaurants like this is to create an environment where people can eat authentic food native to their country while also supporting your country mates, but somewhere along the line greed and profit gets in the way and they look their customers in the eye and truly stand by the prices! Do better as a business but also as a people! When the hype of the place wear off and their no more “insta” customers. All you have left is the people who truly support and truly advocated for your growth. Don’t let that fade just for quick profit! Quick profit doesn’t last long term. Sadly my Koite support has come to an end. I feel ripped off and I’m not going to feel that way to simply eat food! I urge you all to simply do better.

The food is always good 👍
Granted I haven't been to their restaurant locations, their pop-up location that features their food truck in Forestville Plaza is where my mom was blessed to bring some of their food home for the family to try. Quick story, one weekend I was driving by with her in my vehicle and suddenly we smelled a delicious aroma as well as saw smoke coming from the grill. She noted the place in her mind this weekend she was able to venture there. She relayed that they had a good amount of customers ordering food but the personnel was so patient, kind, and helpful. She brought home some grilled chicken, lamb, jollof rice, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. Majority of the meat and jollof rice was in one container, but altogether enough to feed a family of three people with huge appetites. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was their grilled chicken! It paired nicely with their mustard sauces, especially the hot mustard sauce! They also have The most unique and delicious joloff rice I've ever tasted in my life! The taste of Senegal cannot be compared! I've tried other West African food, but Senegalese food stands out like no other! Originally, Ivorian food was my favorite, but now I can add Senegalese food to my new list of favorite West African food! You have to try it - you won't regret it! I look forward to going to one of their restaurant locations!

Great place to get grilled chicken.
Edit 2024: Ive been thier customer since 2012 when they were in Langley park truck. They have tripled thier prices gradually after 2020 and the quantity has gotten lesser and lesser over time. Still good taste but better options available for that price range.
Excellent food and excellent service. The portions are very large which is good. You have enough for your dinner and some leftovers. The fries were also very good. The food came out relatively quick and was very hot and delicious.

Got to the store and was greeted by Omar. I asked if he could try to give me smaller pieces and he did just that. The lamb dibi was seasoned well....definitely enjoyed it.
