Permanently closed.... call them a week ago, and the mall they are in is being torn down.... they are gone.... RIP Hanami! I am so sorry to see you

I didn’t even get to eat. Hours says until 9:30pm. Pulled up at 8:30 and the place is closed. For what? Why? Y’all need to change the hours online then. Not good for business.
I like their food. Tried to order online like I always do just a few minutes ago but the website says expired.

It’s okay. The price of sashimi is a little cheaper than that of DC Japanese food stores, and the freshness is average; the squid sashimi is burnt and has a burnt smell on the surface, which is a demerit; the mackerel is not fresh fish but marinated fish; although it is expected The tempura is not freshly fried, but when the tempura shrimp is served, you can taste that part of it is a bit cold, and the processing is still too sloppy. The food is of decent quality for the relatively low price. Service was hit or miss, a bit slow. The music in the restaurant is mostly Chopin and Richard Clayderman, which is a bit awkward for a Japanese restaurant.

It's absolutely not tasty!It just doesn't taste good.All ingredients are overcooking and taste like rags. I had to add a large amount of soy sauce to even taste the saltiness.This is the most tasteless food I have ever tasted. And I’m sure that the restaurant employees know about this, since the waiter didn’t even ask if we liked the food?

They jump up when white patrons enter the establishment. But act like black folks are lost when we enter. Def WONT be returning.

This place has become a favorite of ours! So disappointing that these small businesses are being turned into apartments, it’s truly a shame and takes away from the culture of the town.
