Read FULLY the "Vegetable Soup" description and ordered it since it doesn't contain NO meat. This same Vegetable Soup arrived with thick meat. I called the manager to inform remained her the description on their menu has no meat in the soup. She stated all the soup has meat and it was goat meat. Everyone does not eat Goat meat!!! Just like some people don't like pork or beef. It common sense!!! : 1) Indicated the soup contain meat 2) Indicated the type of meat 3) Don't just randomly select a meat to surprised the customer, allow the customer to select the meat of fish, chicken, ect. She wanted to make another on and send by Doordash, I refused to accepted it because the Nigerian lady sounded anger...I don't trust it.

I picked up food from here on a Sunday. Their website and Google shows an open time of 11:30 but when I called the restaurant to verify I was told they don't open until 12:00.Luckily I was able to place my order through their website at 11:40 for a 12:00 pick up. When I arrived at 12:05 the young lady told me that they had just opened up at noon and my order would be ready soon.Everything in my order was hot and fresh. I just recommend that the owner get the opening time corrected for their website and on Google maps.

I was visiting College Park for 3 nights and was staying at "The Hotel at UMD" that is very close to this restaurant. I decided to try Jodeem for dinner one evening. I ordered Cassava leaves with chicken, fufu, and spinach. The food was very reasonably priced and plentiful. And it was so flavorful. I ordered some food from there for takeout 3 days later and that food was quite great too. Overall, very happy with the experience and would go back if I get a chance.

The service was Awesomeness. This was my first time here. The young lady was very polite and patient with me while placing a big order. The food was extremely tasty and full of flavor. Peanut butter soup, fried fish with spinach, plantains, large jollof rice (should had gotten extra) lol my family ate most of my rice. Thank you and I will be back soon. It was the best Birthday Meal! Blessings On Blessings

Delivery happened within the estimated time. The restaurant was generous with meat chunks and the pounded yam was the absolute right texture.

OMG! Visited the College Park location today, and boy did it fulfill my need for Nigerian food. I had the Pepper Pot Soup, after wanting to try it for over 10 years, and it was superb! Just the right amount of heat. The Suya was well seasoned and had the perfect amount of heat. I wasn’t too fond of the meat pies though, I had the beef, which I expected the beef to be more seasoned, but this is coming from someone of Jamaican descent who expected the meat to be spicier. As well, I didn’t really like the fish pies, as they had a very fishy taste to them. Overall, I would definitely recommend Jodeem African Cuisine, and can’t wait to go back and order the Egusi Stew ???

Walked in randomly. Amazing food. Pounded yam (fufu) and goat/spinach. Awesome!I messaged my Nigerian roommate from my UMD days (class of '06) and he said this is the best Nigerian place in the DC area. Of course I yelled at him for not telling me about this place before!Massive portion, which I can't believe I finished. Will def be bqck

I had the jollof rice, spinach, and plantain. I also had a meat pie.Everything was exceptionally delicious except for the meat pie. But the other items were so good that it over compensated for the not so good meat pie. Too bad this place is far from my home. Whenever I’m in the College Park area I will definitely visit.
