NuVegan is Always My First Choice!

I’m going to keep this short and sweet: if I want vegan food, NuVegan is my go-to. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming every time. If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and grab a dish—you won’t regret it!

Mannnn i am totally disappointed that the Baltimore is permanently closed. Are you thinking about another location in Baltimore?

This was a tasty black bean burger. I also liked the sides of sweet potato and broccoli.

This WAS my favorite vegan spot. Until I placed a large catering order for my wedding day and found a water beetle bug in the first pan we opened. It was tightly sealed and triple wrapped with plastic wrap by the restaurant so there was no way this outdoor water beetle came from inside my home or my indoor wedding venue. The rest of our guests enjoyed their BBQ and I was left a hungry vegan bride. I would not have left this review if the owner hadn’t personally said he would rectify the situation and then proceeded to ignore me for 5 weeks and counting. I still have not received a refund or other resolution to this matter almost 6 weeks later. Very disappointing. First photo is the bug after I found it and the next is after I rinsed it off to make sure it was actually a bug. Please fix this, NuVegan.

It is always a wonderful experience at Nu Vegan when I visit family in Maryland. The quality of the food has remained exceptional. It is one of my extended family's best place to eat. Kudos ?

I hope the ower or manager sees this. I love Nuvegan however the last couple of times that I've visited, I was highly disappointed. I drive from Delaware just to experience great food all the time. During my last visit, you were out of several of you popular staple items. I was told that it would take over an hour to make Mac and cheese and some of the salads were not being made. It's 4pm and it's hard to believe that on a Saturday your restaurant is not prepared to handle the evening dinner request. It's unfortunate that whoever is managing the shift did not gauge what food items needed to be replenished when items were getting low.
I want to continue to patronize your business. Having popular items like this is part of customer experience and unfortunately my experience continue to decline each time I visit this store. I wish this was an isolated incident but this is not the 1st time this happened. I would love to see things get back to what it was when I 1st fell in love with your Brand!! I look forward to supporting you.

We went in right before closing time so I didn’t order anything from the back/fries and they didn’t have milkshakes available but everything was delicious and they gave me humongous portions in not sure if that is the standard here or if it was because they were closing, but I’m not complaining. ☺️

I had the BQQ tofu with rice and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was scary good , and the tofu had me devouring my food. My only complaint is that they seem to be lacking in service. It’s takes a bit for them to get your order, and they were missing multiple items on their menu. They were low in white rice, ran out of brown rice, had no buns for burgers, and were missing black bean patties. Weird for the fact I was there a hour after opening. It also was a bit pricey, my entree and two sides was $18.50, definitely should be rated “$$” and not “$”. Updated from previous review on 2024-07-27

I love this spot. I think I might go today. It is a 45 min drive for me, but worth the drive.
