Before their move this past year I loved Pho Thom. Recently not so much. It was 4 of us, we were seated but then we proceeded to wait for about 10+ minutes. After we had went to the front to ask for a server, we had our order taken, everything is smooth. They
then gave us a drink that wasn’t ours and had gotten their tables all messed up. But this again took them a while to situate. Following they came out w the toppings for the pho some of us had ordered. There was GNATS crawling around in the bean spout, mint, and jalapeño. The waitress then mumbled a sorry and acted surprised when we cancelled our order. If there’s one there’s more! They’ve truly lost me as a customer and it’s truly sad to see the quality has fizzled out after their space move.

The pho shrimp was really good. Could have more noodles IMO. The garden rolls were good, but they could also stand to have more noodles and veggies too. I wish the peanut sauce was a little spicier (I can't even believe I'm saying that) but it's just too peanutbuttery sweet. I tried the chicken satay too but forgot to take a photo. Very juicy! I've been twice now and I still want to try more. Very quick service for lunch.

Good pho!
Food is spectacular. Their chicken wings are really good, especially the sauce they use. The servers are usually at the front desk if the customers need anything. The prices are very affordable for the portion that they have.

Great spot with consistently delicious food and kind, fast service. The owner is wonderful, and while there can sometimes be a slight language barrier with the servers, they are always sweet and attentive.
The pho is very popular and for good reason. The broth is rich and clearly made with time & care, just as traditional Vietnamese noodle soup should be. That said, my personal favorite is the Thai food. There are so many more Thai options here than at most Vietnamese restaurants, and the dishes are bold, spicy, and full of flavor.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and they now offer chili oil if you ask. Definitely worth a visit.

The food here is always amazing. I have been a customer here for 4 solid years. Quality has not changed with the new place, however, it does seem like there are new staff. Overall, great experience and I’ll be back again!

The waiter’s and waitress’s have bad attitude’s. I ordered a vegetable Pho, and was given a vegetable with tofu Pho. Not what I ordered. When I brought it to my waiter’s attention he disregarded it. The tofu was also raw. Not the best energy, they over compensate with nice furbishment and decoration’s.

Paid 6 dollars for this half full, full of ice cup. It’s supposed to be a Vietnamese coffee. Food is ok but definitely shouldn’t take advantage of people by selling ice in a cup

Today I took my daughter to the University of Maryland to retake her graduation photos. Afterward, we stopped by Pho Thom for dinner. My daughter said Pho Thom is a well-known spot near the UMD College Park MD.
We easily found the restaurant and parked at the nearby CVS lot, just a one-minute walk away.
Pho Thom recently reopened in a newly renovated space. The design feels modern and clean, with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The owner warmly welcomed us and shared that they’ve been running the business for about 15 years. They moved from their old location to this beautifully updated space.
We ordered a bowl of Vietnamese beef noodle soup and a shrimp Pad Thai. I’ve tried pho at other places before, but the broth often tasted too heavy with MSG or seasoning, leaving my mouth dry. After eating at Pho Thom, I didn’t feel that dryness at all. The broth tasted light and fresh, and I could tell they used healthy, high-quality ingredients. My daughter also enjoyed her shrimp Pad Thai, it was flavorful but not greasy.
This was the best Vietnamese beef noodle soup I’ve had in over 20 years. I truly appreciate how much care the owner puts into preparing healthy and delicious meals. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Is a 1,000/10 possible? The food, excellent. The service, even more excellent. The help, nicest people ever. The new location, beautiful. And the owner, the most astonishing human ever. If you have never been here, I’m sorry for you. Make your way over! I have been going for 12 years and can’t wait to go back every week.

Came here to eat only two times and I’m definitely coming back! Definitely one of the best asian restaurants in the College Park area with very flavorful Vietnamese and Thai food. I’ll be recommending this place to all my friends and family.
