Door fee was not terrible. Good atmosphere and environment. Had a good time in the porch area.
Too expensive for a college bar. Charging $15 just for cover when the place is empty inside is not a good look. Hell they’ve tried charging me $30 just to get in. With the several other bars in College Park I see no reason to pay this much to attend.
Bouncer is ridiculous. $15-$25 cover every night and expensive drinks. Don’t waste your time and money go anywhere else.
The highest cover in all of cp. bad food too.
Best CP bar
From the moment I stepped into RJ Bentley’s for Happy Hour, I had no idea my life was about to change. But one bite into their signature dish, and it felt like the world stopped spinning. The flavors hit me like pure magic- buttery King’s Hawaiian rolls, juicy chicken fried to perfection, and a nice combo of ranch AND blue cheese on the side. It was as if each ingredient was a spell, cast to awaken my tastebuds from slumber.
Lugnuts I thank you sincerely.

Had a really good panel at the 10th Annual CEEJH Symposium. After that I went out with some good friends who came with me. We ate at RJ Bentleys, got a Chicken Alfredo with a side Caesar salad. The place was really loud and had to constantly yell. Granted, it was near UMD with a bunch of college students so that’s not surprising. The Alfredo noodles were really good, my favorite part tbh. The chicken was good but a lil bit overcooked, I could taste some charred bits that weren’t great. The salad was fine, unfortunately they were out of ranch dressing and so they gave me blue cheese unbeknownst to me. I put it on there and was disappointed that the dressing overpowered the salad. I hate blue cheese, always have always will. Nonetheless, I had a great time with great friends, but definitely wouldn’t go back to RJ Bentleys.

Bounces and bar tenders were rude. Charged cover when the other 3 bars in college park did not. Over priced drinks as well.
All in all avoid this bar if you want a good time and you can get into another bar

Wednesday night, arrived at 7pm. We were one of three tables with guestsOrdered drinks and appetizers. Those came quick. Took over one hour to get our meals. Ceaser salad, chicken sandwich and a taco salad. At best, food was mediocre. Only time we saw waitress was when she brought food. That was twice. The Guacamole was brownish in color. Very disappointing.

A staple in the College Park area. Definitely a place worth stopping into for a few drinks before the game or stay to watch the game.

I recently held a holiday brunch at Bentley’s for my employees. Their large dining room was able to accommodate the ten of us perfectly. The atmosphere was set perfectly with the wooden finish and fire place that kept us nice and cozy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the phenomenal crab dip and Buffalo chicken dip as appetizers which didn’t last very long. I suggest ordering three at a time because it’s just that good! The menu is quite large. Lots of options to choose from and I’m sure they can accommodate just about any request. Don’t forget to ask about the Oreo mousse cake! It sells out fast!!
