Sarku Japan Teriyaki & Sushi Express

I ordered 2 chicken teriyakis with fried rice, really disappointing that I had to throw away $30 worth of food because the workers are careless, there was a hair on top when I opened the container
My “fried rice” was mushy and watery which just feels unacceptable and the chicken was chewy and looked like it needed to be cooked longer

Roman was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. He was exceptional. I Came in hungry and tired from work and he brightened my day. I ordered to go but he was so patient, informative, and kind.

The cooks for Saturday October 19 at around 7:30 were absolutely terrible. I got three orders and there were some chicken teriyaki that was not fully cooked. The chicken teriyakis texture was very gooey. They took close to 30 min to get my order ready. You’d expect to have a fully cooked meal. But no.

The cashier is the only person I’ll give a 10/10. Very cool guy and respectful.

The cooks were atrocious. Lady seemed pissed too.

Waited 30 mins for sushi and chicken teriyaki. Open the container and the first thing we see if raw chicken. Very disappointing. Please check your food before eating.

The wait time insane

I came to order the sushi rolls and was offered an up charge to make it a combo. I loved the idea and was very pleased. I sometimes visit this location because I work close to this particular location. There's no consistency when it comes to what's allowed to be offered and what is not, because sometimes I'm told I can get the combo and sometimes I'm told that I cannot. I need clarification so that everyone is on the same page. It seems like o only have this issue with one particular employee but I don't want to get anyone in trouble because maybe he just doesn't know. It works be great if that were a permanent menu selection.

Used to come to this restaurant often on lunch break from the office. Unfortunately the costumer service isn't what it used to be. I went with a co-worker to get take out, and we were just one order apart, yet the attendant (Glenda) apparently must be under strict orders to serve online orders in front of walk-ins. The result was a wait of over 25 minutes while people kept coming in and picking up food. Finally when I was served, came back to the office, my chicken teriyaki had shrimp in it. So, if you don't mind waiting and having bad service, then go there, otherwise, just go somewhere else! I know I will. Fuji, in Beltsville is way better anyways.

Good food, my order had a few burnt pieces, otherwise everything was fine.

They cheat you on the portion size and they DO NOT honor the punch card like all the other locations. The manager is rude. White Oak Location is WAY Better!!!
