Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I ordered a smoothie at 2:05 PM on 7/31/25. However, the storm delayed me, and I did not arrive until 3:20. My smoothie was sitting in the cubby at room temperature. I told the lady it should've been in the stainless steel fridge or freezer. That's where I have always seen the staff get it from. She said they always keep them out at room temperature. That's not true because I've ordered many smoothies from there. Clearly, that's not true. I don't know her name, but she said she's been with the company for 4 years. Instead of remaking it, she threw a bunch of ice in it with some fruit and reblended it, but it was tasteless. So I had to get a refund. Knowing you can't leave a smoothie at room temperature is not rocket science. That doesn't make any sense. Now, I won't order from there anymore with employees like her.

Lady was rude i think her name is Issa or Lisa. I asked for no sugar in my smoothie and when i asked if there was sugar she said she couldnt stop and the smoothie wasnt even fully made she didnt stop. I asked for her name because she was rude when i asked wnd she could have stopped making it…she started speaking in her native language so i couldnt understand. I feel disrespected and discriminated because why cant you speak to me in english like you originally was

I love the smoothies I won’t talk about smoothies because was great customer service terrible very sad the part so if you work in that place you have to smile always good vibes went yesterday the 2 girl with EarPods

These people are crazy. they really tried to not use my coupon when I didn’t have a “receipt” even though I showed her the code on my phone. She tells me that no I can’t use it because it’s not in the system. Then I have my mom go in there and they tell her that it can’t be used because you have to use it at the location that you got it from, which is a lie because the coupon is for any tropical smoothie. Then my mother goes back in there and the end up using it. Whole time she girl didn’t know how to use the coupon. They started talking shit in Spanish the whole time I was in there. Then my wrap came out tasting funny. I will never order from them again.

If I could give this location in College Park a zero star review I would. I ordered from the app for delivery and never recieved my order. I reached out to the store and they said they couldn’t help me to call DoorDash. I called DoorDash and they told me I needed to reach out to the store. No one would take accountability for my order not being received and now I lost out the money I paid for goods not received and service that is poor. I will not be ordering from them again. Hi so I ordered this like 30 minutes ago with DoorDash and this is what I received from tropical smoothie they need to take action and train there employees how to make sandwiches in the right way and they need to learn how to prepare sandwiches in the right way and clean way with no hair inside the sandwiches, this all and I will never order anything from tropical smoothie ever again,

Tropical Smoothie (Camden) in College Park refused to remake my order. I forgot to indicate my bacon allergy, but the restaurant still refused to remake my order or provide a refund when I requested one.

I did an online order for pick up and didn’t realize it was the wrong location until I got to tropical smoothie in laurel to pick up my smoothies. I called the college park location to let them know I accidentally ordered my smoothies to the wrong location and I do not drive so I could not get to them. They told me they don’t do refunds. This is crazy they basically just scammed me out of my money. Ofc I called my bank and just disputed the charge because there is no way you’re gonna get money out of me for something I did not receive. You guys need to have better customer service.

I work down the street and this is my 3rd time coming and last! Every time I come in here , the attitudes are just nasty. I feel very unwelcome and there’s needs to be additional training on how customers should be treated! Every time I ask for something additional, I get the side eye. Rolling of the eyes. I just can’t. The lady with the red hair and manager gave me the worst experience!

Don’t go here! I got bad food poisoning and tried calling the place 5 times no one answered!Update: I’ve gotten food poisoning from contaminated rice. The people working are not following food safety protocols and are leaving food out at room temperature and serving it to people. I know other people who have also gotten food poisoning from this location and I’ve also seen numerous reviews stating that they are not wearing gloves while preparing food.

Gave this shop one last shot it is 1205noon, the girl fixing the drinks this day, 11/22, is fixing drinks like she's full of rage, literally slamming the blender covers as loud as she can, I've never witnessed such craziness, got a refund and left, Done. There should be a button for zero
