Their ordering sign isn't working. Asked for the new nuggets that are being advertised everywhere but they were out, didn't know when they'd have them again. Asked for a side platter with mixed vegetables, haven't had those for some time. Got a half chicken, they seem to have shrunk some. I asked for napkins, but didn't have any of those either. Asked for paper towels instead, then one of the workers looked at me like I had asked for the moon. Is this place going out of business?
The food was horrible The bathroom was disgusting I understand why Boston markets around the country are starting to shut down. It had been gears since I had Boston market but never again.
We usually LOVE this place. (Boston Market). We travel globally for business most days of the year and have always had the best experience in every state. Today in Columbia however was far from OK. The guy at the counter was nice, however the chicken was not. I actually ate my first rubber chicken today. Believe it or not, they charged me $4 for a small side of gravy (none of the other stores nationwide do that) and what I got was what looked like dirty dishwater. Not at all thick and was whitish in color. I asked for the regular gravy and got a small ladle of it. Not even half of the container. I had to ask her to fill the container at least half full as I’d paid an arm and a leg for it. Then, as we are traveling for business and have no utensils with us, we asked for some knives and forks. Nope. They don’t do that in this store. Instead- a spoon with little fork indentations on the end of it is all they would give me. I begged for civilized plastic cutlery, at least a knife, but to no avail. Now, I challenge anyone to eat a half chicken with one of these things- not possible even if it’s NOT a rubber chicken. I just hope this is an isolated situation, but we’re never taking our chances here again. We’ll still go to Boston Market anywhere else- just not this one. The takeaway is: -They charge way too much for a condiment that’s free at any other location -Gravy should be thicker than water -knives and forks should be provided and no, a spoon/fork combo suitable only for baby food does not suffice. - The guy at the counter was lovely.
Don’t bother ordering from here unless you want disappointing service and mediocre food. Ordered online for my family only to show up with a dinner missing due to being sold out. This would of not been a problem if I would of received a courtesy call and been able to order something else. The restaurant was under staffed and the 2 employees there were so busy they ignored me while trying to keep up with the busy drive thru. I had to go somewhere else to get dinner I thought was already taken care of. Very terrible experience. Would not recommend or go again.
This is the worse food from Boston Market we had. Loved BM for years. Now the quality is cheap, meatloaf is like TV dinners, color and the texture is not pleasing. Chicken is dry and no flavor. Thestuffing is from the bag put some water that's it. What happen????? Not getting any from them or not even recommending.
Hadn't been to a Boston Market in eons, but they had a sale so I grabbed a couple of rotisseries and some sides and went to chowtown. it was pretty good and for the sale price I was elated.. .the real winner here was the staff. the manager and sales lady were so nice and couldn't have been more accommodating. go check em out if you're in the area and want some baked chicken in your life:-)
Bad customer service. Very disappointed. I paid $62 to have grunhub deliver 3 3-piece dark dinners. Boston Market sent one dinner. No cornbread. They sent me a dinner roll. Food tasted like reheated leftovers. I ordered at 12:00 pm (noon) lunchtime.. When I called to tell them they responded, are you coming to pick the food up? I said, no. Then they responded that I could come by any day and time to pick it up the rest of my irder. I said no, so I called grubhub, and they gave me a refund. Also, the prices went up and the quality of the food went down.It wasn't good. The chicken was dry, and the food wasn't fresh.
Food was not good. The chicken was dry and spinach and brocoli. All the food tasted like reheated leftovers. They were serving rolls instead of cornbread. I ordered at 11:00 am.
Placed my holiday order to be ready between 11am and 11:15am on Thanksgiving. Got there and no order of operations. Stood in one line waiting only to be told when it was finally our turn that pick up was in another line. Took another 40 mins before we got our order. Only given 8 orders of pie vs. the 9 ordered and paid for. Absolutely horrible experience and service. Food was also subpar!
Worst meal I had ever purchased for 41 dollars, rice was not cooked. Got the wrong flavor chicken. Definitely dissatisfied with the food. It wasnt good at all in the taste literally just threw it away. I could've gotten better food for less at other places. I can't see myself ever going back there.

On Weds 10/26 I order $68 of food from Boston Market in Columbia. When the food got home most of the items were wrong. I returned to the store and was informed that they were out of the items that I ordered and the store substituted. There was no phone call and the substituted items were cheaper menu item. I requested a refund and the manger informed me that she couldn’t issue a refund and would need to call the district manager. She called and send him a copy of my receipt. I was promised a full refund. I left the food there and returned home. Today the charge for full price was posted but no refund. Beware.
Is this about this location??????, oh no…….! No ?, can’t treat customers like that. If this is you guys, this is bad marketing.
I went to this location shortly after 5. The restaurant was short staffed and looked like cyclone hit it. Floor had puddles of water in dining room and steam trays were close to empty. Some of the fuller trays were sitting out looking like they were there since 11 am. I had a 50% off coupon for family meal which made dinner more resonable, but portion sizes were not good for 3 people. I ordered salad and got romaine lettuce only with dressing and two sides of mashed potatoes with gravy. They had some delux sides if you wanted to pay extra which didn't look any more appealing. Do yourself a favor and check out Sardis Peruvian chicken which I highly recommend.
I highly recommend nobody eats at this location. Extremely unprofessional, dirty, and unorganized.I don’t expect this place to stay open much longer..
The food was good and the employees were friendly and fast.
