Lately meals have been real hits or complete misses and you have to send it back. Plenty of vegan options clearly labeled on the menu which is a huge plus!

The Chilli was too thick. We used it at home to make tacos, and that was good. The falafel pita was pretty good. The fries were old. Firecracker shrimp was good, but way too sweet.

Our hostess Karen was the best. Seating was slim when we originally arrived and when better seating became available she got us moved right away. Taylor, our server was equally awesome and the food never disappoints. I highly recommend Busboys and Poets!

Amazing vibe. Smooth music, great hanging art, not to mention a mini library to poke around. There are big screen TVs but they are kept quiet and don’t interrupt much. They seem to have a good amount of regulars which is a good sign.I had the chicken and pancakes with the sweet potato pancake. The pancakes were perfect, fluffy and spiced. The friend chicken breast was still juicy but the breading was really thin. It comes with 100% maple syrup at no extra charge, unlike most breakfast places that try to charge you extra for the real syrup. I do feel like the plate needed a savory sauce, either a spicy or mustard sauce to contrast with the maple syrup and bring out the fried chicken.

Meh. Lots of gluten free options and great variety on the menu. Good atmosphere too. I got the fried chicken with collard greens and mashed potatoes. All was underwhelming. The cauliflower appetizer was pretty good though. I also got the flourless chocolate cake and it was pretty good. Server did a good job but deeeeeefinitely didn’t seem like she wanted to be there.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options

This is a really good place to go if you have folks who have food allergies, vegan or are refraining from gluten etc and you would not have to sacrifice a beef burger or some chicken! The staff was friendly and seemed happy to be working. The menu has many choices which was a really nice surprise. In our order we had Cuban sandwich, we ordered wings, tuna, vegan GF nachos, a big salad, the grilled cheese and it all looked great, my sandwich was spot on.It's a great vibe and I liked the small book store nestled at the front door, creating a neat experience. It was busy so the ambient sound was up there, but we liked all the activity and the buzz. The service was fast even as busy as it was.Come early it gets busy, it's in a good location.Vegetarian options: nachosDietary restrictions: Many choices for vegan and gluten free

Great food, professional staff and entertainment on Poets night.Suggestion: Busboys you should advertise what night the entertainment will be explicit, rated R. On the 3rd Thursdays, the MC and feature were very explicit. I get it-artistic expression but it was overwhelming for some.I had a wonderful time on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Very classy MC and Feature poet. The Amatuers, other artist on both nights were amazing.

Not bad, tasty pancakes. Pricey, and not somewhere I'd visit again on ny own. But if I was invited I would show up. Average across the board.
