All of us who went there today had an awesome experience ordering and we were amazed by how good the Haytian people's food is. The black rice was my favorite personally. Please keep up the good work!

I had a great experience at Caribeyond Restaurant! The flavors brought me right to the heart of Haitian cuisine. The macaroni pie was creamy, cheesy, and perfectly baked—definitely a standout. The black rice was rich and fragrant, and the chicken legs were juicy and seasoned to perfection. I also really enjoyed the fish cakes—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor.
The only dish that didn’t quite hit the mark for me was the chicken patty. It was a bit dry and didn’t have the same bold taste as the other items. That said, everything else made up for it, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more.
If you’re looking for authentic Haitian comfort food, Caribeyond is worth a visit!

I’ve only ever ordered Haitian food from here and decided to step out of my comfort zone and get the oxtail. I was told it came with rice and beans and cabbage or sweet plantain. I chose the plantain. Upon completing my order the man stuck his head out and said: “oh this comes with mac n cheese too…don’t want it?” I said sure. I got my food and opened it up: to my surprise there was 2.5 tiny small pieces of oxtail. And this is not an exaggeration…2.5 smalllll pieces of oxtail. Paired with oily unseasoned mac and cheese and a whole bunch of rice with contract. The oxtail was not traditional Jamaican oxtail or Haitian oxtail at that. It lacked flavor and was greasy. Did I mention no gravy? What am I supposed to do with all my rice?! Just eat it dry. Also the “sweet” plantains were barely ripe at that. I think this has been one of the most disappointing plates of food I’ve gotten from this place. And where I wouldn’t normally write a review I feel pushed to do so because the customer service just wasn’t it that day. When I told him I only got 2.5 pieces of oxtail…he made a joke about getting me another piece and kinda just shrugged his shoulder. He asked me for my opinion of the food because he was hyping it up as the best oxtails in town and when I shared my opinion he just stated: “well everyone-has different taste buds” and went on to tell me how people order oxtail there all the time. Why ask for my opinion if you’re just gonna get defensive. I told him then and I’ll tell y’all now …just stick to the Haitian food here. And honestly even that could be better. As a native of Florida and quality Haitian cuisine…this just holds place for when I don’t feel like slaving over the stove and making my own food. Also, the mac and cheese was not included and he charged me an additional price. I paid over $30 for greasy oxtail (2.5 pieces), dry rice, watery mac and cheese and in between plantain. I’ll be taking a break from this place to say the least. Picture is from before I even ate. This dish and customer service gets a 2 star…I’ve had other tasty dishes here and some not so tasty but I had to write a review for this last experience because customer service could have been better.

I hate when restaurants start off good then decline. The food lacked flavor and cake tasted like sour air. Mac and cheese was penne pasta with cheese clumps which is not what normally is given. Portions half of what they were. Seriously disappointed

I ordered the oxtails it was 25.99 it came with red beans and rice and cabbage. I also order plantains as an extra side. The overall taste of the food was good. The plantains were horrible. My main issue was that it only came with four oxtails one large Mostly bone no meat just fat two small ones and a very tiny one with no meat on it so basically I paid $25 for two small oxtails I will never order from them again

The most rude customer service I've ever had. Apparently the restaurant is under new management. The oxtail was too salty, the mac & cheese was hard & dry, food was horrible. I'll never go back again.
Oxtail entree. Very sub par. Meat chewy tough and not tender hard to chew tough and flavorless Cabbage very tough and hard to bite no flavor dry and brittle Rice soft moist no coconut flavor just ALL SUBPAR

Went on 8/29 and arrived at 7:20pm. The lady at the front was extremely rude. It’s like she was mad that my family and I came in 40 minutes before closing-she did not seem happy to serve us. I ordered a jerk, curry and a cashew brittle. When I asked for a bigger piece of the brittle she huffed like it was a problem. The chicken and rice and peas were so dry because I believe it was heated up in the microwave. The food was piping hot but unevenly hot. Overall the bad service was enough to turn me off and the food just wasn’t worth it. I really wish I could get my money back.

The customer service is HORRIBLE! There was no one in the restaurant but the server took a long time to come from the back. When she did, she had an awful attitude. She did not give eye contact, she was giving one-word answers, she acted like she did not want us to be there or give us service. Half of the menu was not available, they had no vegetables or fish to serve. She could not give definitive answers about what was ready to order and her overall disposition was nasty. While I should have walked out before paying, I ordered my food, as I was excited for Haitian food, but it was "okay" at best. The Black rice gave nothing notable to return for. I asked if she was the owner or if they are present and she just replied no, as she walked away to the back as I was talking. NEVER AGAIN! I like to support Black owned business but I have no way of contacting the owner to let them know about their staff.
