I hate when restaurants start off good then decline. The food lacked flavor and cake tasted like sour air. Mac and cheese was penne pasta with cheese clumps which is not what normally is given. Portions half of what they were. Seriously disappointed

I ordered the oxtails it was 25.99 it came with red beans and rice and cabbage. I also order plantains as an extra side. The overall taste of the food was good. The plantains were horrible. My main issue was that it only came with four oxtails one large Mostly bone no meat just fat two small ones and a very tiny one with no meat on it so basically I paid $25 for two small oxtails I will never order from them again

The most rude customer service I've ever had. Apparently the restaurant is under new management. The oxtail was too salty, the mac & cheese was hard & dry, food was horrible. I'll never go back again.

Went on 8/29 and arrived at 7:20pm. The lady at the front was extremely rude. It’s like she was mad that my family and I came in 40 minutes before closing-she did not seem happy to serve us. I ordered a jerk, curry and a cashew brittle. When I asked for a bigger piece of the brittle she huffed like it was a problem. The chicken and rice and peas were so dry because I believe it was heated up in the microwave. The food was piping hot but unevenly hot. Overall the bad service was enough to turn me off and the food just wasn’t worth it. I really wish I could get my money back.

The customer service is HORRIBLE! There was no one in the restaurant but the server took a long time to come from the back. When she did, she had an awful attitude. She did not give eye contact, she was giving one-word answers, she acted like she did not want us to be there or give us service. Half of the menu was not available, they had no vegetables or fish to serve. She could not give definitive answers about what was ready to order and her overall disposition was nasty. While I should have walked out before paying, I ordered my food, as I was excited for Haitian food, but it was "okay" at best. The Black rice gave nothing notable to return for. I asked if she was the owner or if they are present and she just replied no, as she walked away to the back as I was talking. NEVER AGAIN! I like to support Black owned business but I have no way of contacting the owner to let them know about their staff.

My daughter ordered a meal. It was just delicious. The right balance of spices. I rate the food 5 stars for taste.
Kabrit (goat) was pretty hard and dry. Black rice lacked flavor and didn’t smell appetizing. The PICKLIZ wasn’t hot and spicy like most and I basically wasted $26.00.Never going back.

I mostly support blacked owned businesses/restaurants but this one is making me think twice. Crappy, rude and bad customer service, the lady taking had attitude and poor service, very eerie atmosphere, food was mid, meat so chewy and very expensive as well (paid almost $90 for 2entrees, 1patty and 2drinks. The place looks like they only do delivery and take out orders. Never coming there again or recommend to anyone.
