I had them for the 1st time yesterday! I had fried trout, it was good!! I tried their collard greens and was DISAPPOINTED!!! Ughhh they were sweet but also tasted like canned greens. Get anything but the greens.

The food at this restaurant has been consistently fantastic and authentic for decades. I have followed them through three locations over the years. In addition to wonderfully prepared chicken, I also like their whiting bites ( nuggets), and their cakes, which are homemade and sellout. The service is always polite and the seating is always clean but seems to be empty because I think most orders are take out. I always take my order home to enjoy.

This was my very first visit to Chick N’ Friends and whew—why didn’t y’all tell me sooner?! 😩🔥 They were slammed today, but let me tell you… that food was worth every second. I ordered the catfish tender basket and a slice of their three-layer cake—LAWD HAVE MERCY! The tenders were crispy, seasoned to perfection, and the cake? So moist it almost made me emotional. 😂 One guy got fussy about the wait, but the staff handled it like pros with smiles and grace....
