I made a challenge to try a different restaurant each week. Yesterday I decided to order via GrubHub and try the Chicken + Whiskey Restaurant at Columbia Mall. I ordered the half chicken meal with corn tomato salad and macaroni and cheese. The chicken was extremely juicy which I loved. The aji amarillo sauce took the chicken to another level! The macaroni and cheese was very creamy but it lacked seasoning. The corn and tomato salad tasted like it might have been made a few days before because the corn was chewy and it lacked seasoning. To me, it was not bad for the price and I was able to make two meals and doctor up the sides when I got home. Still recommend this place as the restaurant was clean and the service was good.

Im not a big fan of rotisserie chicken but I craved it today and ordered it through Uber eats. At first I was upset that it took me 2 hours to get my order but that’s not the restaurants fault. The food is really good and they have great portions. Like I said before rotisserie chicken is not my favorite because it’s always the same thing in every restaurant but I will say today I’m very impressed. The food is delicious and the variety of food makes it different than the other restaurants. I will 100% get food from here again (sorry about the picture, I ate some before reviewing)

We love this place but this wasn't our best experience, mainly the paquito wraps, they almost taste like smoky chicken pot pie without the chicken... they used to have so much more flavor and texture, but the yucca fries were amazing and my spouse loved the sweet plantains. (We got the gauc and green plantain chips which tasted great but we got the bottom broke bits. ) Service was bomb...A doordash driver was in front of us and was soooo rude. I'm so sorry to the cashier for how he treated her.
My wife and I used to love coming to this location to enjoy the occasional arepa. Unfortunately, we were left very disappointed this last visit and couldn't even finish our food. Not because of the food, but because of the cleanliness of the restaurant. I was enjoying my arepa, then looked up and caught a glimpse of something odd. These odd little dots on the divider in front of me. Upon closer inspection, those dots were mouse poop. I sadly can say that we will not be back.

Thank you so much for accommodating out large group for dinner tonight. We showed up on a Sunday evening with 30+ people and you served us as quickly as you could, allowed us space in your bar area and were nothing but kind. Food was delicious and service was great!

Their chicken, Mac and cheese, and plantains are so good. I also wasn't expecting to get as much food as I did for what I paid . . . I make it a point to get some to go whenever I'm at the mall because I know I'll be thinking about it afterwards if I don't.
The flavors are interesting, but the expense of the items and the fact they are sitting on a line for who knows how long, and the portion sizes being small make this a pass for me.We had the salad, tenders, arroz con Blanca and the yucca fries.Probably would not bother again
The space is quite large, with high ceilings and lots of light so you don't feel so cramped. The chicken was very juicy and flavorful, and there's lots of selections you can make! We came a bit late so they were out of some of the sides which was a bit sad, but they gave us some extra biscotti-like cookies as a consolation. I think I was surprised that the roasted corn was served cold, and that was a bit jarring for me. The plantains were probably my favorite side and I would definitely just get double portions instead of another side!

The food was so delicious and I was able to order quickly. I got the 1/4 chicken with roasted corn + tomato and yucca fries. Everything tasted fresh and the yucca fries were nice and warm. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick bite and is looking for chicken that is a bit different from Nandos, but with a similar vibe.
