Chutney Indian Restaurant

Food: this is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the area. We especially enjoy their butter chicken and saag paneer, but everything we've had is good!

Ordered delivery. First time ordering from this restaurant. Followed my spice instructions. Everything I ordered was very good. Veg samosas and chicken tikki masala were so good. Think I have found my new local indian restaurant.

This is one of the best Indian places on the east coast. 6 stars. If you are within 200 miles. Drive. It’s that consistently good. If you are new to Indian food, let this be your first experience. Foodies already know. The lunch buffet is open again!! If you are vacationing in the DMV area make this a special food stop. It’s better than the any tourist spot in the DC Metro. I recently was in London and waited in line for Dishoom for over an hour for amazing Indian cuisine. Chutney is leaps and bounds better. Take a read of some of the 5star reviews. This place is fantastic. Always fills my soul. The food is restorative. Makani chicken. A daal soup. The naan. Oh man the naan!

The best Indian food in the DMV. While it's in a strip mall and the decor inside isn't fancy, the food is authentic and phenomenal. I was brought here the first time by an Indian family and we drove from Rockville. They regularly make the drive. We've been to countless Indian restaurants in Montgomery and Howard counties, DC, and all over VA. There are places that definitely have a more put together interior, especially a particular competitor nearby Chutney. But the quality of the food never compares, the quantity is never nearly as much, and the service at Chutney makes you feel like family.

Best chicken korma ever! Definitely a difference in their quality of food vs other local Indian restaurants. Service was impeccable and I was even offered a free mango lassi for having an extra wait for my takeout food.

Buffet on weekends have shrimp...really good! I have been coming here for a decade. Folks are really good with kids. Enjoy their fusion of wonderful food. Staff are super nice and friendly - home away from home!

Food is so delicious and fresh, the staff is so kind and personable. Its a staple in our household. Plus the portions are incredibly generous. A serving of Biriani here is more than enough for two-3 people. I always leave with leftovers.

I’ve visited three times and tried three dishes so far. The Goat Curry and Chicken Hyderabadi Curry were super delicious. The service was excellent too. I’d definitely come back just for them.
