I'm from Texas and while visiting my son in Columbia, he said he wanted to take me for some good Mexican food. I was skeptical and he was wrong. The food wasn't good, it was great! We got a huge order of guacamole and it was delicious. My entrée was a sour cream chicken enchilada and a cheese enchilada, with rice and beans. Probably the best cheese enchilada I've ever had. Everything was very tasty and I had a stout blue drink that was very good
This was our second visit to Cinco de Mayo in Columbia, and unfortunately, both visits left us disappointed, even though the food was excellent.
On this visit, the margaritas were a letdown. One tasted like cough syrup, and the other seemed to have no alcohol at all. They were over fifteen dollars each, but we did not say anything at the time because our server could not understand us. There were communication issues throughout the meal, which made it difficult to address...

Overall a good choice in the area! Good homemade chips, very tasty and surprisingly spicy salsa. The California burrito was delicious and full of flavor. No flavor in the guac unfortunately. The spicy margarita was lacking any spiciness and a little watered down but not bad. Happy hour margs are limited to a single flavor each day.
