Fun night out! Loved the theme. Was surprised to discover the community seating. Met some nice folks. Appreciated the performances. Dare I say there was too much food?! The sticky toffee pudding was perfection.
Attended a special Robert Burns Night dinner event. It was very well done and an enjoyable experience.
We had a great experience from the beginning to end. The hostess was very nice, Chris our waiter was very attentive and provided excellent service and the food was a 10/10. My husband enjoyed his Birthday dinner and he really appreciated the card!
Justine was an absolute delight, made great suggestions and ensured a wonderful experience!
was the second visit for my wife and me and it included a couple of disappointments unfortunately. The Smoked Old Fashioned was more ice than cocktail. One large cube is usually better than rocks and the “smoked bitters” added no “smoke” flavors. The Malbec I ordered to accompany the “rack” (really NOT a rack) of lamb didn't arrive before I was almost finished with the dish so I cancelled it. The skirt steak my wife ordered was more fat than steak. Very unfortunate as since it's a starter the portion is not large. She couldn't eat it. The music was fantastic but we had to rush to Burger King before it closed because we were starving by the time we got back to Germantown at 11:30.
The food was good, but the service not so much. We were a little confused because we thought restaurant began on the date we was there, but the server advised us. It was beginning the day after. We were fine with that and decided to stay. It seems like after that he was a little disconnected and not around this much. It didn't seem like he had as many tables. We had to ask another server for dessert, menus, and for recommendations. There is an automatic 20 percent gratuity which was not deserved. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. The jazz band was very y good as well as the ambience.!
It was a wonderful experience all the way around. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The wine met expectations, and the food was perfectly prepared. The recorded music was a little loud, but not excessively. We'll be returning.
The food, service and ambience are excellent! There was live jazz at dinner and a wonderful experience overall.
Made a reservation for the jazz that they play here. We were seated and was able to move to the bar. Excellent wine selections particularly the pinot noir. Had the duck bao buns which were excellent. Great jazz live music throughout the evening.
The vibe and ambience is always great. Food is delicious. Music was great!!! My one gripe on my last visit is that we were celebrating two birthdays. We ordered dessert after our meal and after we ordered and in the middle of eating dessert our waiter brings a complimentary dessert and champagne. Curious why he didn't bring the complimentary dessert prior to us ordering dessert from the menu! We would not have ordered dessert.

Great dining experience, we were pleased it made my Birthday enjoyable, our server Trevor was fantastic.
Once again, the food and service were beyond fantastic. The Black Cake cocktail may just be my new favorite, and the Burnt Basque Cheesecake was truly exceptional. 18th & 21st has never let us down. They were very busy for a Wednesday night due to two corporate events taking place, but the background noise was moderate and the live jazz combo was excellent. Prices have creeped up a bit, but that's true everywhere at this time. It was our wedding anniversary and we were gifted a congratulatory note from the staff, a complimentary champagne toast and dessert. First class treatment and food all the way! We were a little worried going in that the quality may have decreased with the change of ownership, but our fears have been allayed after this visit. Still one of our absolute favorite spots in Howard County, Maryland.
Fantastic place for a special occasion. Food was amazing, and the friend we were celebrating felt loved!
From entry to exit, nothing but warm hospitality, outstanding service, great music, excellent drinks and pairings, delicious foods and celebratory joy!
We visit Cured on a regular basis, but this was the first time we dined at 18th & 21st. It was a nice experience. We had reservations and were seated promptly. The servers were friendly. It was a holiday, so the restaurant was moderate crowded. Bar service was a bit slow. The food arrived quickly and was still warm. Our steaks were cooked as ordered, but the meat was a bit tough. The wine arrived after the meal started, but it was good. Unlike other associated restaurants, our server was not prepared to offer a wine pairing suggestion. That surprised us. Overall, it was a nice meal in a festive environment.
