Dat Jerk Columbia

Excellent food. 1st time going. I got the curry chicken dinner with oxtails. My sides were fried cabbage, r&ps and plantains.
Baby the plantains were juicy & moist. My daughter enjoyed her oxtails dinner. Will definitely become a regular here. I picked up for take out but ate my curry chicken at the table. Restaurant is very clean and staff was friendly

VERY VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED. Worst Caribbean food I’ve probably ever had. No flavor to the curry chicken at all. Roti thicker than a burrito shell. Mac and cheese half melted cheese throughout the entire portion. Cheese on top so hard sounded like a tree branch snapping. The white rice was by far the best part of my meal. The customer service was ok. But of course there is always one. Lady with short hair attitude terrible. She stood next to the lady taking my order talked the entire time then got upset with me because she heard me say white rice yet was serving me rice and peas. She then dumped the rice and peas right back into the rice and pea container and put white rice in same container and all. I thought I found a new work lunch spot but I haven’t. Will never be back. If you want authentic DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

had such an amazing experience at Dat Jerk in Columbia! Mariana went above and beyond with her service—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. She truly made my visit outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend asking for Mariana if you want top-notch service!

Walked in about an hour before closing— was greeted with a kind and enthusiastic “Welcome to Dat Jerk” from the customer services representative that handled my order, Kay. I let her know that it was my first time at this establishment, so she kindly explained the menu options, as well as her recommendations in detail. I appreciated her recommendations, and got a 1/2 Jerk Chicken bowl with plantains and rice & peas as my sides and a Curry Chicken roti. Both were full of flavor and amazing. Kay made sure I had all the sauces to try as well. My favorite was the DJ! What an excellent first experience at Dat Jerk, from the customer service as soon as you walk in, to the tasty food— can’t wait to go back. Thank you!

The macaroni and cheese is delicious. The Oxtails are meaty and the cabbage is delicious. Everything that I had to eat was on point. I'm glad to finally have good Caribbean food in Columbia, MD. I will definitely be back.

Alexander is a gem. He was very pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. The food was delicious. This was my second time coming to this restaurant; I brought my family along and they were extremely satisfied. When even placed 2 orders to go for other family members at home.😊
