You won’t get any better Mexican food in the DMV area! Very authentic, flavorful, and delicious food I come here on a consistent basis. Everything is amazing, there new bori bowl taste like homemade food its more than worth trying!

A few months ago, the menu at the Banneker truck transitioned to a fully Halal menu. While we respect this change, we were disappointed to see our favorite pork dish removed, and the steak doesn’t seem to taste as good anymore. This change has been disappointing for us as loyal customers, but after asking DMV Taqueria workers about the Halal change they said it is due to large amounts of Muslim customers, so I guess that explains the menu changes.

This food truck is excellent. They serve fresh but in timely manner. The prices are fair and affordable, better than other food trucks who serve less for more money. DMV Taqueria serves food full of meat and the meat is not full of fat or tendons like other places tend to serve. The birria food is a-ma-zing!!. They’re worth going out of your way to find! The staff is also friendly!

The beef tacos are fantastic!!! We stop here on the way to see my mom, but would gladly drive an hour for the delicious food!!!
If I could marry tacos I would. The beef birrria (halal) tacos were the best I've had. You get 3 for around 16 dollars. I got a water so around 17. Comes with 3 sauces, absolutely delicious. They got some picnic tables set up for you to eat at. Best food truck I've been to in a while. Go check them out! Plus fast service and very polite.
