1 Star - Unwelcoming and Discriminatory Treatment
Location: Eli Whitney Dr
I’ve been a Dunkin’ customer for years, but my recent experiences at this location have been deeply disappointing and frankly dehumanizing.
Wednesday Incident:
I arrived at 5 AM before my shift as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician). I realized I’d forgotten my wallet and politely asked if I could get a black coffee, explaining my situation. The store manager declined, which I completely understood - it’s her job to follow company policy. No hard feelings.
I sat down at one of the tables to start work until my office opened. Immediately, the manager aggressively reminded me I had “15 minutes to leave” since I didn’t purchase anything. I respected that, packed up, and left without issue.
Thursday Incident - Where Things Got Unacceptable:
The next day, I returned at 5 AM - this time WITH my wallet. I purchased a caramel macchiato and sat down to work on my laptop for about 30 minutes before heading to my job working with children with autism.
Before my laptop even connected to the WiFi, the same manager approached me with a hostile tone, telling me I had “10 minutes and then you need to leave.” I had just purchased a drink. I politely explained that I’m a paying customer and have the right to sit and enjoy my coffee, just like at any other coffee shop.
Instead of de-escalating, she raised her voice well above conversational level and continued berating me in front of other customers. When I asked for her name to file a complaint, she refused to provide it and deflected with “Why do you need my name?”
The Real Issue:
If Dunkin’ doesn’t want customers sitting in the store, remove the tables and chairs. You can’t have seating areas and then harass paying customers for using them. This manager’s aggressive, disrespectful approach made me feel less than human - and I’ve worked customer service for years, so I understand the challenges.
In 20 years in this country, I’ve never been treated this poorly by any service worker. This isn’t about policy enforcement - it’s about basic human decency and respect for paying customers.
I will not be returning to this location and cannot recommend it to anyone who values respectful customer service.
Police Confirmation:
After leaving the store, I had a chance to run into a county police officer named Paul and explained what happened to see if there was something I was missing or if I wasn’t aware of a new law.
He simply said, “Nope, bro, the lady doesn’t respect her job or herself. As long as she hasn’t banned you, you’re all good. I’m sorry about that experience.”

Don't have an issue with food but the customer service is sub par. Walked in with intention to pay cash. Was given a reason the register was slow. It seemed the guy didnt want to put any effort in this morning. So I chose to leave, plenty of other dunkins with better service around

My turkey sausage egg and cheese wake up wrap was missing the fried egg! No one wants just sausage and cheese for breakfast

Not effective at communicating with customers. Stood in the store for 20 minutes waiting for an online order and was never explained why it was never served. Just bad experience

Music is loud which is annoying because they take far too long to pour a cup of coffee. In addition, and maybe worst of all, they didn’t include half my take-out order and I was too far once I noticed to turn around. If you do have to come here, order 10 min in advance. Oh and you have to check your order to make sure it’s right…

The staff in here is extremely unfriendly and rude most of the time. They also chose to not participate in nurses week. That just seems greedy to not want to give back to the medical community. Definitely will not return

I want there by 5 to get treat my friends from work
I hate leaving bad reviews but I have to on this one. I tried this Dunkin before heading into work. I arrived at 8:56AM, and ordered hash browns, a wake up wrap, and a large iced latte. I got the food right away, but the drink I did not. People that ordered after me got their drinks. I saw someone who was there way before me still did not get theirs, too. I watched him walk up and ask for his drink, that he had been waiting. They still made him wait! It took another 8 minutes..he got his drink finally and left. It was the. 9:10, I was confused about my drink, I realized my order number was not even on the screen. I asked them about my drink and she said she was going to make it now. It still took so long! She finally handed me a drink that looked like all milk, no espresso! She said that latte machine was down and that’s why it took so long, but I was confused because other people were getting their drinks. It was the. 9:22….and my drink had no coffee in it. Not sure if it was an off day, but I was late to work, and my coworkers informed me how bad that location is in the mornings. Idk, was just a really bad and weird experience. :/
So glad they're near my work!! Luv my Dunkin! Very nice folks working here the staff is always great!

Really the worst location. If you go inside you can’t get waited on (kiosk system is worthless). If you drive thru the staff doesn’t speak English (a jelly filled donut, took two people and they didn’t understand). Last time dropped our credit card out the window. Today we got day old donuts and not what we wanted. If it wasn’t for a toddler that liked pink icing and sprinkles we’d never ever go back
