I tried to visit this establishment on Friday August 8th around 1:20 pm. My mother and I walked in with two older gentleman who came right behind us. The place had quite few open tables. We were greeted by a young man who seemed kind of sassy. He escorted us to the back to a table that was looking right into the kitchen. I said I did not want to sit there. He then said I could sit at a table that was right next to the bathroom. I said I did not want to sit there either. He said I have to ask permission if you can sit you anywhere else. I turned around and just walked away from this simpleton playing games. I noticed the men who came in right behind us had taken a seat up near the front. I just left and went somewhere else to eat and had a great experience at the Ale House right in the same plaza. Service like that has to run off customers.

The restaurant was packed on a Saturday morning for brunch but the wait was short and the staff were all so friendly. Can’t begin to say just how amazing the food was! Wife and I were in and out in about an hour.

The watermelon wake up was a delicious and refreshing mojito inspired uncarbonated juice that is freshly squeezed each morning. As a lover of mojitos, I highly recommend! The staff is courteous and personal in their interactions, serving the person, not the customer. I've come two mornings in a row during my visit to Columbia area, having the salmon fritata my first visit, and the tri-athlete my second.
Really great place to take kids. They had sidewalk chalk, board games, and good kids menus. Only negatives were the relatively high noise level and super cold AC.
