Five stars and not even sorry about it.
Game On in the Merriweather District is just plain FUN. From the second you walk in, you feel the energy. The arcade game lineup is abundant — not just a couple machines tossed in for decoration, but a legit variety that makes you want to wander around and challenge everyone you came with.
The cocktails? Totally gimmicky… and that’s exactly the point. They’re playful, colorful, over the top, and part of the whole experience. You don’t go here for a quiet, serious cocktail. You go for the spectacle and the fun, and they absolutely deliver on that.
Now the food — this is where they really shine. The cheesesteak egg rolls are a must. Crispy outside, packed with flavor inside, and completely craveable. The chicken buffalo sliders? Straight up delicious. Juicy, saucy, and perfect arcade fuel.
But what really stood out was the staff. They genuinely seem like they’re having an amazing time working there. Smiling, engaging, upbeat — and that energy spreads to the guests. When the team looks like they love being there, it changes everything.
Game On knows exactly what it is, and it does it well. We’ll absolutely be back.

This place was about average, came here played some arcade games with my friend and my cousin, and it was okay. The joystick on the teenage mutant Ninja turtle arcade game was a little broken for some of us though. The beer pong game was little inconsistent as the balls had different weights and different effects when bounced on the pad.

Good selection of games cheap and fun being cash
This place is so awesome! A very casual eclectic come-as-you-are bar and arcade. Great variety of drinks and food. Check it out!

I don't leave a 5 star review unless I mean it and this place/staff deserves it! I went for a 10yo bday party and everyone had a blast! We had so much fun. As far as bar food goes, I thought the food was great. It is kinda a tight space but I didn't mind at all. I think it's cozy and a nice was to make friends. It's a social place for sure. (Might not be everyones vibe but I'm here for it.) I had a Butter Beer cocktail, so good! The games were almost all in working condition which I really appreciate. The place was clean. Vibes were perfect. All of the staff members were amazing. Sydney was so awesome! (And I loved her body glitter lol!) She really did a great job with all the guests. I didnt get anyone else's name but truly they were ALL amazing!! And that's what makes the difference! I found the prices to be fair, I don't mind paying a premium for good service/experience. We will DEF be back! Keep it up guys! So nice to know there is a fun place to go on dates/with the kiddo.

Small space for the amount of people they appeal to for food, drinks, and gaming. Our group of nine had a great time. Kids really enjoyed the games. Food was not that great. Chicken wrap was tasty and made well. Two pizza, one was burnt around the crust for the most part. Cheese pizza looked much better. Nachos looked and tasted as if they had melted slices of American cheese on it. Employees were nice and helpful. Overall would return for the games, but eat somewhere else before or after visiting GameOn Bar and Arcade.

My husband and I recently relocated to the area and were excited to go to a barcade other than Dave & Busters. We ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls which were delicious, the chicken tenders which were average, and the pizza which was foul. The service was excellent at the bar and the food came quickly. They have these delicious scooby doo shots which we enjoyed. However I would say the overall arcade portion of the place is lacking. They had minimal machines/games and most were out of order. The artwork and aesthetics of the place is grungy and lacks class. As a developer myself I found it silly that when you open the restroom door the door basically hits the toilet and you have only a few inches to squeeze through and enter (irrelevant but small detail). Over all we were happy we went but didn’t buy another round of tokens and quickly left to go to a different bar in the development.

I went for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. The environment looked very cool and the concept seemed great. I loved the artwork and fun drink menu. But that’s where the fun stopped. You order food from the bartender, so bar style standing around waiting for the one bartender taking orders to take an order. Most of which acted apathetic and uninterested. The menu was not the online menu (I was excited for the weekend breakfast options) instead it was very basic bar food. The bartender again was unapologetic and very take it or leave it. I was already there so I ordered two personal pan pizzas and mozzarella sticks. The pizzas came out as thin crust (though not bad also not what I ordered) The mozzarella sticks had cold plain sauce. The seating area was minimal and not bussed at all. The games were ok but didn’t work great either. Overall I loved the idea but won’t be back.

First visit; this past Wednesday after a rough day at work, spontaneous date night. Game On is not very big however they had a nice selection of pinball machines; which was the main reason for my visit. Half price token night; which was a plus. The drinks are very expensive; I believe I got a Smore’s mule with a graham cracker rim; the drink was okay but after the big square block of ice placed in my glass and four sips; it was gone for $16; not worth it. The bartender was very friendly though. There was a female staff present who was super loud; she kinda was killing the vibe. She must have threw back a few.
It was decorated nicely and there is an ATM however I am not sure if I would return for another visit; if I do; it is because I love pinball machines.

This place blasts music until 12am-2am every night. Very disruptive to people in the surrounding apartments, can’t get any sleep.
Recently held my wife's birthday party here and it was a complete success. The customer service is second-to-none, the atmosphere was somehow lively and laid back, the food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced, and the games are fun! A lot of the game cabinets are older, so you can experience some jams or button/stick responsiveness issues, but the staff are friendly and more than willing to make things right for you if anything goes awry. We can't wait to go again!

By far my favorite place to get a drink and play some pinball. The food is good, the games are kept up, and the drinks are excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and I always feel welcome. I especially like Ennese on Tequila Tuesday, she's very attentive and always happy.

My friends and I LOVE coming here! Service is fast, food is good, games are fun, bartenders are friendly, and I appreciate that there are areas to sit that are a little quieter. The music is also fun and the DJ’s are cool.
