This place was amazing. When I saw the one dish salad and sliced steak with fries, only options. I was a bit skeptical. However, this place rocks. Steak made perfect to order, and the home made gravy and fresh bread delicious. The Lavender 75 drink was a great refreshing beverage. Definitely will be our new date night spot.

We had a beautiful dinner experience at GrillMarx Columbia! Our food was delicious, and our server, Ervin C. made our evening just perfect! He was friendly, responsive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The salmon and steak selections were fantastic and the spinach dip I had as an appetizer was delicious! We will definitely be returning!

Dinner date for 4 to celebrate babes birthday. This location is a small/medium sized steakhouse. Recommended by my sister. The 4 of us enjoyed our food and drinks. My Kona Ribeye was 14oz, grilled just the way I like it, med-well all day! The flavor was amazing. I probably should have asked our server to recommend a nice glass of wine to go with it but there's always next time. Babe had the ribs, he loved them. My sis had the pork tenderloin. It was paired with grits and a sauce/gravy. She loved it. Said the pork was so tender and cooked well. NOT DRY AT ALL! Her babe got the New York Strip. He loved that as well. Oh, both couples ordered the crab dip. Served with bread and chips. Chips made it a perfect pair. Another hit. I was so excited to finish that dip 2 days later Great place to enjoy a nice relaxing meal.

I thought it was nice, as usual. But I was served a rotted Oyster, which I spit out. Six hours later, I was sicker than I have ever been. Ever. I thought I was going to die. $250 dinner vomited up. And today, Easter Sunday, I have not been able to get out of bed. The oysters were very expensive, and the size of small chowder clams. The steak was largely inedible. I am attaching a picture showing the fatty gloppy portion of my "steak" on the left. What I thought was edible on the right. Sadly, the portion on the right was only partially edible.Update: my diagnosis was Verbrio, a bacterial infection from oysters. And very serious. Grillmarx reply was "too bad". Yes, there is always a warning in restaurants to not eat raw good. However, in this case I was fed an obviously rotted piece of seafood. And I asked the waitress to SMELL the shell (sewage/ammonia). No mistake. ROTTEN.At this point, I can not recommend this restaurant. I hope you heed my warning.
