Horrible management: Reserved for 8 people, showed up and said no table for 8 since walk ins took our table. What is the point of reservation then!

Meat not fresh: beef came out look brown, meat cut uneven sitting in a pile of a plate. Presentations terrible. It doesn’t look good that I stopped ordering more food and went home and eat cup noddles.

Drinks expensive: mocktails charge same as cocktails, kids had drinks for 12.95 each. Restaurant not too busy, but said out of glasses so have to use plastic cups.

Services: they said we have to wait for a while for our food. Slow services, messy.

We were not happy paying $400!!! It suppose to be a nice celebration dinner, but nothing was right the moment we walk into the restaurant.

We will never be back.

Overpriced food for little portion. had only two bites of each portion. Would never go back here.

I had the pleasure of being served by Uzatron, and I must say—phenomenal doesn’t even begin to cover it. From the moment we were seated, Uzatron was attentive, professional, and incredibly detail-oriented. Every request was met with precision and a positive attitude. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, ensured everything was perfect throughout the meal, and made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. It’s rare to find service that truly stands out, but Uzatron absolutely delivered. Exceptional job!

I stepped into this restaurant with very high expectations. Asian BBQ standards are rather very high. There is definitely something missing in this place. First, too many employees in the front greet customers rather than working. Secondly, NO BBQ server cooking for customers. Third, @#$% WHERE ARE THE DISHES FOR COOKED MEATS? My
server was very friendly but, I didn't see any floor manager running the restaurant. Finally, food portions were terrible 😩...

What is wrong with damn stoves(Smokes were everywhere)?

I believe experiencing this restaurant could have been a lot better.
I think if you want better portions and better service... just visit any Korean BBQ.

Peter was such a great server

Ordered the Umakara Beef Bowl. What the picture shows isn't what I got. And there is hardly any beef, especially for $20+.

Great for lunch, the price can be a little expensive for a big family for dinner. The food was great. I've been looking for good, good Japanese food.

Stopped by for dinner with a friend right around 5. Got seated right away and the server came to introduce himself and get me situated while I waited for my friend. The service was pretty good most of the night until about 3/4 of the way in. With that said not entirely sure how many more tables he got assigned but the dishes took longer to come out and we had to flag someone down for some more water.

The food on the other hand was great! They have such a large menu that caters to a lot of people. They have an a la carte menu but we opted for the ayce. There are three tiers so if you’re with more ppl and can explore more dishes I highly recommend the highest tier. The prices aren’t cheap but as I said the variety more than makes up for it.

The restaurant is big and can seat larger parties. They were also doing a bday when we were having dinner so they definitely cater to those celebrating!

There is a parking lot outside so no need to worry about that!

Great food, good service and cooking our own stuff at the table was really fun. They asked if we had any allergies or dietary concerns beforehand, which was appreciated. We'll definitely be back!

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ offers a solid dining experience with excellent service. The staff are attentive, friendly, and quick to assist, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, the rice served during our meal was noticeably stale, and it became apparent that it had been prepared earlier and not properly stored. While the rest of the dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, it's disappointing that the restaurant knowingly served subpar rice, which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Overall, Gyu-Kaku shines in terms of service but could improve in ensuring all aspects of the meal, including rice, meet the same high standard.

Really enjoyed our evening at Gyu-Kaku. It's fun to grill and share the food together. I highly recommend the hanger steak, and broccoli!

Servers and hosts are young and unprofessional.

They charge $4 for a bowl of rice 🤡

Just as good as Korean bbq maybe less. Prices ar insane for the quality of meat. Korea is the way to go. Google says $$ it should be $$$$. Rice was under cooked and service was terrible.

The atmosphere was inviting with an attentive staff. The meat selection was impressive and catered to a variety of tastes. There was a limited selection for vegetarians. The platters are designed for two which made it difficult for the pescatarian. My husband had to order à la carte to suit his preferences.
