This is my favorite chicken joint in HoCo! The strips have the best flavor and if I bought them every time I craved them I’d be as big as a house. I have some minor suggestions for a better experience but none of them take away from how good the food is. 1, I wish you could get a meal with a boba tea. My husband always wants one with his food. 2, The parking lot is small and busy with very little turn around space which can be tricky during peak times. 3, sometimes they forget...
We stopped by Hangry Joe's before a show at Merriweather. Now I am addicted, and so sad that there isn't a location closer to me so that I can enjoy these amazing crispy chicken sandwiches more often.
Luv extra spicy food, but spicy food in the area just wasn't spicy enough. Until today. I met my match with the HOT chicken sandwich and slaw. It was spicy HOT and delicious. Had to add some honey on it to try and tone it down but that didn't work. Still couldn't finish it. My kind of sandwich!!
