Poor Customer Service and Product Quality
Hello,
I visited your location today to place an order, but the girl at the counter was wearing headphones and on a phone call while I was trying to order. Her behavior came across as very rude and unprofessional. Additionally, the orange juice I received did not taste good at all.
I wanted to bring this to your attention because I was very disappointed with the overall experience.

One of the younger ladies that work there is so rude. She acts like she doesn’t want to be there or like you’re bothering her just to place an order. This is the second time she’s done this to me.

Horrible customer service felt like I was bothering the two female workers... so we went to cheesecake factory instead. Will never return or recommend! Smh

I always have a positive experience at Healthy Island Smoothies! Their smoothies are the freshest in the Columbia, Maryland area, and I highly recommend everyone check them out. I love coming here, and the rewards program is a great bonus—purchase regularly, and you get a free smoothie! If you're looking for a refreshing, healthy treat, this is the place to be!

I ordered two peanut butter chocolate banana protein smoothies, but what I received was essentially a banana milkshake. The staff added just one scoop of chocolate protein and one scoop of peanut butter protein when the serving size is 2 scoops per serving to make a serving size of two shakes. So basically a quarter of product for 2 separate shakes. When I brought this to their attention, I was informed that everyone has their own way of making them and that nothing could be done to rectify the situation. There was no offer to remake the smoothies or provide a refund. The staff was not helpful or knowledgeable on how they should be doing their job. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this place again.

I would leave zero stars if I could. I usually go to this stand for my smoothies cause I really did enjoy them, but after the encounter I had today I will not be back! Before ordering my smoothie the older red haired lady sneezed into her hand, I told her bless you and I waited for her to gather herself. You would think she would have washed or sanitized her hands, she went directly for the cups and proceeded to write my order on the cup. I stood there in disgust!! Because what am i witnessing. I said to her you just sneezed into your hand!!! She looked at me frazzled, she said I’m going to put on gloves so as you can imagine I’m still looking at her very much in disgust, she then said I will wash my hands before I put on gloves. Um duh! That should have been your first move! Before you grabbed a cup. She was not even going to change my cup, I had to let her know that I wanted a new cup! That’s clear common sense after you’ve gotten your germs all over the first one! She proceeded to make my smoothie and only put two of the 5 fruits in that I asked for, I know what you’re all thinking why did you continue the order well I actually don’t know bad move on my end. This is the most Diabolical thing I have ever witnessed in all my days of ordering food or beverage.

They need to be careful with the use of gloves, they touch their headphones with them and dirty towels, I really like these smoothies but they should train their employees well.
