I'm reviewing because it feels like Asean Bistro is limping on its last leg and that saddens me. They've been around for a couple decades. I used to go often when I lived closer. Both dine in and carry out. Delicious Crispy Eggplant. Went this week and it was a bit disappointing. The corner cutting for cost savings is painfully obvious. The eggplant was still very yummy albeit more sweet than spicy. Serving size was very good. My dad ordered shrimp toast and said it's the smallest serving of shrimp toast he's ever seen. Still good though. The biggest surprise though is being stingy with white rice. Very odd to me. If I ate all of my entree there, I would've had to ask for more rice. I hope something changes to get it back to the bustling restaurant with cheesy live piano playing again. My guess is there's too much competition now for them and they haven't changed their menu. If you've read this far, I suggest going for a dinner sometime to see if we can give some life back to this oldie but goodie.

Well, go back in time 10+ years and this place had the best Asian cuisine. Today it is good, but I believe the ownership needs to give it a fresh start, focus on better QA and CS.

Found a new place that is excellent. The atmosphere is pleasing, the service was on point, and the food is wonderful. I will be coming back. Most definitely, I will be recommending this place to my family and friends.

Very disappointed with the food. I ordered dinner size kung pow shrimp and shrimp egg fu yung. Only one box of rice. The kung pow shrimp was horrible. Hardly no shrimp in the egg fu yung, only two to three small over cooked shrimp in the patty, really! I have been going to this restaurant for years. They are extremely going down, I’m very disappointed.

Gross!!!!! Stopped coming here 10 years ago bc the food quality decreased. Tried again tonight bc I was in the mood for Asian cuisine. Shrimp with lobster sauce should be easy. Shrimp overcooked and shriveled up & dry. They looked like chitterlings. Lobster sauce had no flavor whatsoever. The rice wasn’t good either. How do you mess up rice?? Drove back with my 5 year old in tow to get a refund. I will never again.
Lunch menu was great can sit or do take out. I sat. Food was reasonably priced , staff kind. Great menu variety. Sweet and sour sauce seems house made. I had the orange chicken it was very delish. I also had crab Rangoon. Bathroom was very clean and well lit. Thank you for the taste meal!

I accidentally placed my online pickup order for the wrong day, but when I showed up for lunch, the gentleman behind the pick up counter was very kind and offered to make it for me right then. I really appreciated the great customer service!
My coworkers and I order from Asean Bistro every few weeks, and the food never disappoints. I eat gluten-free and have tried the GF fried rice and beef with broccoli—both are absolutely delicious!
Great service and tasty food—I’ll definitely keep coming back!

This restaurant should fold up the menus and go home. Hot and sour soup was gravy with nothing else in it. Shrimp were overcooked, tough, dry. Service was lackluster. Had to chase down a waiter in an empty restaurant. Appetizer of lobster was weirdly flavored, probably frozen lobster. Not a winner. Ok, the tea was hot.

I have ordered from them several times, I work right down the street - always take-out. The food is not that bad but every time I order something is wrong with the ? This time I ordered two dishes (sweet orange chicken and shrimp egg foo young) picked it up, when I got home opened the bag there was ONE of white rice. I was pissed because they were two orders, when I called them to tell them (I was home by then) she told me “this is the way we do?” There was no reason to argue I just wanted to let them know. I see they didn’t take into account that their Customers - just cutting costs. I give up I am not going to order there anymore ???
