Went for 4th of July buffet, sat inside. Food was good but not worth the $50 for just a buffet. Dj was outside, no other entertainment or activities inside. Just a $50 buffet.

Great morning with great friends, great food and excellent service! Anna remember us from month to month and is always friendly and accommodating!

Great brunch experience! Will definitely return. The ambiance, good quality, and service were great.

I might have given a better review if the woman seated next to me had not used a wet wipe to take a bath. At the table. In full view of everyone. Someone should have asked her to do that somewhere more appropriate.

We wanted apps and a drink outside on the deck overlooking the lake but it started raining as we arrived so we went inside and ordered our drinks. Before we ordered food we realized it had stopped raining so we asked to go back outside. All the staff were very accommodating and the evening was perfect. Thanks for the great service! And the apps we shared were delicious!

This was second time dining at Lak. The food was great, service great, and ambience great. We sat outside and looked out onto the lake.

Pit server was excellent but the food was just ok and not worth the price tag. Bread is very overpriced. We will probably not return

A lakeside contemporary eatery, lāk offers fresh ingredients prepared with care. We enjoyed their breakfast, and I recommend the Crab Benedict and Corn Flake French toast. In addition to wonderful food, the service at lāk was spot on. Anna was gracious, friendly and helpful. Cheers!

The food was not impressive. The seafood which we ordered was too expensive for what they serve. The ambience, sitting on the terrace was wonderful. Service was not attentive as only 2 waiters were overwhelmed with full restaurant.

Food was really good, we all enjoyed what we ordered. The service was a little slow.

The avocado toast is really really good. I recommend that. We had breakfast here and will definitely be back to try the dinner menu.

By the way, it’s located inside the hotel.

We ate outside and it was a gorgeous evening with beautiful scenery right in the lakefront.
Beef barbacoa tacos to start and that was probably my favorite!
Seared salmon and chicken Milanese for entrees - the chicken Milanese was delicious and the salmon was not bad. Could’ve used a little bit more flavor.

I'm only speaking for the breakfast but it was extremely disappointing especially at the price point. Food was cold, bread was soggy and the $6 fresh orange juice was clearly from a carton. One of the five dishes arrived 15 minutes after the other and only after multiple attempts to get the waiters attention.

To the managers credit the took 25% off our the bill and gave us and the neighboring tables who had the same issues a coupon for next time, but I can't see going back to use it.

My breakfast standards are not all that high so it has to be pretty bad for me to write a negative review. Also instead of cream for the coffee they just filled a salad dressing cup with milk, which was strange.

Their breakfast is extremely mediocre, dare I say even bad especially when you consider the price. If I were *just* reviewing breakfast this rating would probably be one star but their dinner menu is actually really good.

I’ve had breakfast here many times because of its proximity to Merriweather Post Pavilion and so I’ve tried at least 4 different things on the breakfast menu and they’ve all been pretty bad - even their simple country breakfast was blah and I don’t know how you even screw that up. The breakfast service is also pretty bad in my experience. And I know I’m not the only one who thinks that because my partner hates it too.

All that being said, their dinner menu is solid and tasty and I enjoy ordering from the bar rather than sitting in the restaurant because the atmosphere is nicer IMO. But seriously, skip breakfast here. It sucks. I don’t understand how they have such terrible breakfast and such good dinner but it is what it is.
