LongHorn Steakhouse

We had an excellent experience at LongHorn Steakhouse in Columbia, MD, especially given that we came in with a large party of 16. The staff was able to accommodate us without issue, which we truly appreciated.

Our waitress did an outstanding job—she kept all of the orders organized and accurate despite the size of our group, checked on us consistently, and made sure refills were provided without us having to ask. The food came out promptly and hot, and everything was exactly as ordered.

Overall, the service was smooth, attentive, and professional from start to finish. Managing a large party isn’t easy, but they handled it seamlessly. We had a great experience!

I visited on 1/17/26 with a party of 9. We were called ahead and was seated soon as we arrived. Our food was amazing and delicious. Maria the cook does an excellent job on the wings. Our server was Nicole she was the absolute best server. Very patient as I could see it was a busy Saturday and adding such a big party as ours. Nicole took our order promptly she didnt forget a thing we w
asked for. The bathrooms were clean for a busy night. The Manager made hisself visible and asked if we needed anything. Overall great experience as usual.

We had our dinner here with friends and family and it was our first time here. We waited less than 20 minutes and at that time the place was crowded as we went there on Saturday. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food came just in time. Portions of the food are big. I love my ribs and was cook perfectly. Overall, it was a great experience and I will go back again.

The entire time my food sat In front of me I was never given silverware so my food got cold and the server could clearly see that I had any and never offered any until I asked for plastic ware l. If I could give zero stars I would.

Place a western nostalgia feel to it,loved it.As a appetizer we ordered the wild west shrimp nice of a kick,good portion we enjoyed that.I Ordered a ribeye medium well,came out well done,it's ok, they were nice to redo my steak and it was at the right temperature nicely prepared,with Mac n cheese crispy on top.My wife a renegade steak medium well,with loaded baked potato cheese and scallions,plus a serving of broccoli.Food was a basic order for us the food was tasty we enjoyed it,nice quite atmosphere will recommend! Giddy up down! and let them rustle up some good grubs for you.Hee!Haw!

We visited on January 2nd, and the restaurant was very busy. We were seated at a table directly in front of the kitchen, which was not ideal due to the constant noise and traffic. When we asked to switch to two nearby tables, we were told they were reserved and that we would need to get on a waitlist again, even though we were seated immediately upon arrival. Those tables ended up staying empty for the next 10 minutes, so it was a bit frustrating that we could not be moved.

Food-wise, we ordered the LongHorn steak, and it was delicious overall. It was cooked medium well as requested, though it was slightly chewy and a bit dry. Other than that, everything else we ordered was great.

The atmosphere was what you would expect from LongHorn, and aside from the table situation, the service was very good. Staff were attentive and professional.

Overall, the experience was good, but the seating handling could have been managed better.

Our waiter John was a stand out amongst many. We totally enjoyed his conversation and recommendations on food and the menu. Celebratedy birthday here tonight and was very pleased with the food and overall service. The table took about 30 mins to obtain however the staff were accommodating to us while waiting. The staff seemed to be well oiled and kept me up to date thru text with the wait for my table of 8. I really had a nice outing and bday with my family. Food was very tasty and we will most definitely be coming back very soon !!

My family and I had a great experience this evening. As we were finishing our meal, the staff unfortunately had to deal with a very entitled guest. They handled the situation professionally and with grace.

I truly felt for the staff—the manager even offered to buy us dessert, which was completely unnecessary, as they had done absolutely nothing wrong.

Not a single person at that table agreed with the man’s behavior; in fact, one of the women left a cash tip for the server despite not ordering anything.

Classy staff, handled a difficult situation exactly the right way.

Great place for a casual family steak dinner. The steak is always good so are most of the food we ordered. Good value. Standard American steakhouse interior, sometimes the booths are not very clean. The service can be inconsistent but never bad. This time the glitch was with the bartender, he didn’t understand when the waiter put in the manhattan cocktail need to be made with a specific bourbon. And came down with 2 drinks & seemed a little irritated. Not a cohesive work relationship revealed right there. Looked certain employees might need some reminders or retraining . Overall. We are satisfied with longhorn, and will return.

Wow, nothing like a frozen salad at a steak house.
